Good morning LL and happy Caturday!!

Thanks to everyone for bearing with me through my little tantrum yesterday. Yes, I do know better and yes, I need patience pants. :lol: The pity party is over now, I just needed to readjust my expectations and get some perspective. I know Bailey is not doing that badly in the grand scheme of things.

In other news, Bailey got into some contraband kibble this morning, so we will be seeing the effects of that this weekend. I am sure we will have a lovely curve. :lol: ohmygod_smile She was very hungry and thirsty this morning, following me into the bathroom to get water from the sink which she hasn't done in a while. :sad: She was pretty adamant that we could skip the testing and go straight to breffis today - actually made me chase her a bit. :lol:

Pity parties allowed here. One of the great things about LL is you can have moments of dispair, then someone will come along and pick you up again.

Hmm, the stolen kibble hasn't shown up yet I guess. confused_cat A nice slow drop so far. I have been out doing yardwork all afternoon (that's how nice it is here!) since I was expecting her to stay high.

We could use a few vines for my drooler, Blue. We went on a short walk today and his bad knee was acting up, the leg actually went out from under him a few times. :sad: He is a 12 year old black Lab and is prone to joint problems, but had been doing really well until recently. His main problem is he still tries to act like a puppy! and to keep up with our other dog, Chloe... we may have to walk them separately. I keep telling him he is an old man now - needs to slow down a bit. :sad:

Melissa: we all have days that we need to share our feelings..good or bad...with the group...that's why this is a "support" group. Hoping she'll come down. And sending healing vines to Blue!!

Thank goodness for that kibble spike! She would be nearly hypo without it! :lol:

I hope Blue feels better soon. I love the "live for the moment" optimism of dogs, but sometimes it would be better if they would slow down and take it easy on an achy joint.

Dogs I Love them, they are just big babies that never grow up, so how can Blue understand not to romp?He doesnt know he's older, but i am sending Giant Green Healing Vines to Blue for his bad Knee--Hope it's better

ya totally cracked me up this morning with your comment about always stepping in the hairballs! i hear ya. i walk around barefoot and i've stepped in WAAYYYY too many cooties! :lol:

you can always have a pity party here - we understand. everyone has their moments when it is absolutely overwhelming.

regarding Blue - do you have him on anything for arthritis? i've become a fan of the cosequin that punkin is taking and i *think* there's an equivalent for dogs.

For being a Contrabandanista, Miss Bailey is looking awfully good in that low yellow tonight! Hope you're enjoying this beautiful weather we're having... not the 60s of earlier in the week, but still made for a lovely walk for me today!
