It’s possible he could have dropped lower after the +4 BG last night. Do you leave some food out for him to snack on overnight?
I'm sure he did drop lower. His nadir is usually later in the night. I always leave food out overnight. I was tempted to set an alarm to check him, but you'll see in previous threads, I can't get back to sleep when that happens, and I had only three hours of sleep the night before from getting up to check him.
I am not so sure it was a bounce vs a similar start to the day . Keep in mind that there is the 20% variance with human meters, so if you were to add 20% to this mornings pre shot of 291(it would be 349) it would be very similar to the start on 1/4/21. Happy you got some well needed sleep last night. Best with teaching today!
If you feel the need to....what about a just a +10 so that you don’t do a +8 & not get any sleep? Just a thought.... I am sure others will be along to comment as well . Hang in there ....again, you have great traction!!
Good idea. I'll do a bedtime test to see how quick it's dropping. I'm not thinking he'll go hypo, but I'm curious how low he's going now.
