Good Morning LL! Tess has had a couple of wonderful days. She keeps finding those greens. What a relief.

The bean is moving slow this morning. I think I'm getting a cold, I hope not cause I don't want to be around my mom with one. So I'm heading BTB and won't be able to get to many condos. I keep falling asleep while typing. ohmygod_smile

WCR All 5 Ps today and stars on the playing and a"PP"etite.

Tess looks so good....glad she is finding her way back to the greens for you, Ann. She is such a good girl!!

Oh, I hope your btb'ing helps with whatever you are/think you are coming down with. I'm still coughing from a cold I got over the Christmas weekend. Haven't been to the Drs. but at this point, I'm almost cured, so need to let it runs it's course. Take some cold meds (Alky+ works for me, folks in my office are swearing by zicam) and drink plenty of fluids...hot toddies are also awesome ;-)

Looks like Mannie and Tess have decided to surf the yellows together today. maybe a good thing... Feel better soon - enjoy that BTB.

Tess - KTSS duty today! Raplhie and Rocket,a dn Blackie and your mom too. And Binks - did you hear about Binks? :shock: :shock: He got stuck in the slider! OW!! Sorry you aren't feeling well Ann and it looks like Tess is giving you permission for lots of btb time. Oh, and Tess....shhhh, don't tell Muffin, but if you could add her to the KTSS list, she's gonna need help later with vetty smell...thanks!

Tess is getting so many greens lately! :mrgreen: It looks like she's going to give you a break today, though. I hope you don't get that cold - Zicam always works for me to stop it before it gets bad. Thanks for checking in on us, Ann.

Great to see Tess headed for blue!!!! She's been looking really nice lately; I think she really does like this dose.

Aaah...Ann...so sorry to hear you aren't feeling well; yes...stay in bed, drink lots of warm fluids, have John wait on you hand and foot (sorry, John) :lol: :lol:

Tess...I'm up and ready to bring KTSS with Tobey for massages for anyone who needs them. We got lots to visit today and we should start with your mamabean!

Hi, Ann & Tess.. sorry to hear you are not feeling welll.. maybe that is why Tess is giving some sunny yellows.. so momma can rest a bit.. maybe rest a lot.. cuz we know what flat yellows bring..... ;-) Happy Friday eve!

It looks like Tess surfed the yellows today. i feel a little guilty not testing after +3 but I got 5 HOURS of sleep and I am feeling a lot better. I think I felt more than one kitty cuddling me while I was sleeping like the dead. Thanks KTSS, I think that was the trick. Maybe I nipped it in the bud. :-D I even felt good enough when I got up to go outside and work for a couple of hours, it was a beautiful day and the green house was warm.

Unfortunately , Marjorie, John is taking care of my mom at DS house. I don't want to expose her to this if I am coming down with something. I'm on my own again. :cry: John is so much better at cooking than I am!

Ann...so glad the KTSS helped!! Gracie and Tobey were happy to help oblige. Bummer on John being gone!! Hope he left you plenty of yummy food!! Keep resting and feeling better.

Three cheers for the KTSS! Must have been the pots of soup, and Tobey's massage. I am glad that you are feeling better. Bummer though that John is at DS's house, but you are right.

Well have a relaxing evening - I hope Tess has a great surf, but one that requires minimal attention. Rest!

I really can't wait for my Monoject syringes to get here. The bag of BDs that I opened today has lines twice the size of the last bag. How do you line up a dose correctly? Ugh! Such inconsistency!

She knows her mama needs rest!!! I am so with you on the BD vs the Monoject. And thanks again for cluing us in on the BD lancets...so much better.

Hi Ann, and I hope you're feeling much better. Edward swears by the use of a Neti pot with the saline salts that come with it for making a cold go away fast. It feels weird, but I agree that it works. He "neties" every day in the winter and says that it keeps him from getting a cold. (I'm not so devoted!)

I also agree that the Monojects are the best: narrow lines and a nice flat plunger. But the BD lancets are great!

ok - what monojet syringes do you use? I have BD, always have, but wonder if there is something better. I keep reading here about monojet... maybe they would give me more consistency with these d*** microdoses! I use the BD lancets - like those. Were you the one that mention the 30 gauge vs the 33? why do you prefer one over the other? Just curious...

rest up -drink chicken soup, and if you run out I ma sure that the KTSS will bring you more. Now I have to check out those Neti pots. never heard of them. One learns something here everyday.

Michellle. I think it was Celi who recommended the 33gauge lancets, I've never tried them. I like the 30 over the coarser ones a lot of peeps use and I like the BD because I think they are sharper so you can use the finer lancets. :idea: Maybe I should try the 33s, except I just ordered a bunch.

On the syringes I use Monoject Ultrafine U-100 Insulin Syr 31 Gauge 3/10cc 5/16 inch Needle ( 1/2 Unit Markings) 100/Box Code: A740030 http://hocks.com/hocks-healthcare/hocks-product/A740030.html Maybe I'm just used to them but I find them much easier for the micro doses and cheaper than the BD.
 
Hi Ann! Thanks for the info - I answered your reply in my condo too... I use the 33 BD lancets -like them alot: sharp, clean, nice poke,and most of the time Mannie doesn't mind the poke at all. I think I may give the monojet a try. they are cheaper than the BD's I have - and anything is worth a try if it makes microdosing easier.... YAY!
