yesterday

Hi everyone and congrats to Errol for going OTJ!

This is the first time I had to post today. This crazy weather everywhere is cancelling flights all over the country UGH. Not fun for me

I think I may be on to something with a dose for Sebastian I just hope I'm right. I just don't know how to keep the amount at exactly .10. That's really hard even with pictures.

He's feeling good and acting great and all p's are in order.

He/we wishes all kitties and beans a wonderful day and we both send out vines to anyone who needs them, especially any kitty or person who isn't feeling well.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Have you tried using calipers with that small dose?
If it's too small, maybe you can measure 0.25 with the calipers and squeeze out 3 drops or whatever it takes to get to 0.10.
He's looking great.

That's a nicer slide, not a dive! Keep it nice and even surfing now, Sebastian :-D Hope your day is improving, Caryl, have a good rest of your Monday!

Hi, Caryl, I'm glad Sebastian PurrBox (<--- sorry, I know it's not his middle name anymore, couldn't help myself!) is doing well. Beautiful numbers today! Keep up the good work, guys!

Very nice numbers for Sebastian the last day and a half. Let's keep that  trend going.

Hi Caryl, What a better day for Sebastian.

The digital calipers are a great way to get a consistent dose, even with small amounts. Do you know Marje's posts on dosing with calipers? Here is a link to the most detailed one: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=79851

Which brand of syringe do you use? If you use Monojects, be aware that it is very common for insulin to get into the "cone", therefore making your dose larger than you intended. See my sketch of a Monoject syringe:

Have a fine evening,

Ha ha Josie ! Not to worry! I call him Purrbox a lot also :) my Jake purrs as much as Sebastian does and as loud I call them my stereo 'purr boxes' both of them just need to be touched and the motors start going. It's too funny
