Don't beat yourself up.....we all do things in managing FD that we wish we hadn't. It's a learning process no matter how long we've been doing it. We all try to make the best decisions we can for our kitties and that's what you did. You were just trying to keep him safe and that is the number one priority.

There's someone around "almost" 24 hours. It gets a little sparse as the West Coast crew goes to bed about midnight or 1 am (but sometimes we are on later if we are helping someone) and Dyana usually is on pretty early East Coast time so there might be a couple hours that no one is on......so if you need any help....just let us know.

One of our goals s to help you gradually learn to shoot lower and lower to benefit Ollie :-D

Stay safe and warm!

Don't worry - you'll get it. I still do stupid stuff and I've been doing this for a long time! ohmygod_smile Oliver knows everything you're doing is in his best interest. As Marje said, there are usually people on at all odd hours to help you with any questions. Lean on LL and we'll all get Oliver on the right track!

Kelly, if we all did everything exactly right, we wouldn't need the message board! We all make mistakes, even when we think we're doing what's best for our sugarcat. Luckily, they don't hold a grudge, so we just keep on going.

High numbers, while worrying, take time to do their damage..it's the low numbers that kill quickly, so if you have a choice, you'd want him too high, not too low.

I'm not sure, but it might be worthwhile for you to keep an eye on Cobb, Ole and Ebby's condos...they're all trying R to help bring their cats highs (or bounces) down. I'm not sure if Oliver would be a good candidate for using R since I don't know enough about it, but I've seen where the cats who are either stuck high, or do a lot of bouncing are trying it. I think Marje used it to help with Gracie's bouncing.

I know the high numbers are hard, but like they said, better than too low ;-) There's so much info to read, it's good we have all these wonderful people to help :-D I hope your day is going well today :-D Scritches to Oliver!

I know that high numbers are hard to see. The bounces can take awhile, and they wear on our patience. Hopefully, he'll be blue again tonight or tomorrow.

Hey Kelly,

The high numbers are discouraging. I know!!

I reduced Cobb way too much when I joined the board and I know he spent much on we than he needed to in high numbers but I know we got to his dose safely. I definitely wish I'd made a different decision. But what's done is done.

I know everyone freaks out about the high numbers, but like a previous poster said...it takes time for that damage to be done when too low can kill quickly. As Cobb comes down the lower numbers will start to make me nervous!

Hang in there! Your sugar baby appreciates everything you're doing
