Yesterday was a mostly blue day followed by a rocket ship to the pink moon, allowing me to safely go to The Hobbit late showing and not worry about getting home late. Thanks Neko! We had a quick pit stop home after dinner to check the autofeeder (worked last night, not this morning :YMSIGH: ) and then it was safe to go out. All the local movie theatres are showing Hobbit either during nadir or shot time. Darn inconsiderate of them. But there are benefits to bouncy cats. :-D

1/5 Recap:
AMPS 168 +4 205 +6 111 +7 142 +10 101
PMPS 195 +2.5 392 +6.5 289

After last night's late night out, I did have to do the btb this morning. Unfortunately, I still have to play a bit with the autofeeder as she didn't get her +1 and +2 meals until I got up again. Neko was still patiently waiting by the autofeeder for it to produce. After eating, she headed over to nanner central and hung out with the blue fish again. She looked so cute lying there with the nanner as her pillow.

Today it's back to pouring rain and Neko has no interest in going outside. The cats are both doing the btb. It'll be a quiet day for us too.

@Marje - thanks for checking in with Neko last night while I was out.

Nice blue surf for Neko. I bet she did look cute using a nanner as her pillow. I hope you enjoyed the movie last night.

Hi Wendy, nice slide today for Neko. Oh so sweet waiting by the autofeeder. Glad you have it working. Keep surfing Neko.

Hi Wendy and Neko! I so want to go see the Hobbit but haven't found the time with this crazy cat schedule, how was it? Glad Neko gave you a pass to get out, those darn theatres can't they accomodate our sugar babies? LOL! Hope you get that auto feeder working! Have a nice quiet Sunday and get in some naps! Take care

+7 120
Neko decided to nadir early (for her) today. She did go outside for a quick patrol in the rain the late afternoon.

@Carla - looks like a nice long blue surf today. :-D Movie was good but long so ended late.

@Ann - the autofeeder is Neko's BFF because it feeds her. She doesn't give up on that relationship easily.

@Michelle - The Hobbit was good, but is long at 2 hours 34 minutes. It's only the first third of the story so still 2 more to go. It's worth going to the 3D version. Visually it's very beautiful and perhaps could have been edited down a bit. It was so late I was almost napping in the comfy theatre seats.

Hey Wendy,
Neko got off that rocketship and into a beautiful blue surftoday! I'm glad you got to see Hobbit. I'm with you on the theaters scheduling around our kitties... but then our kitties would have to be predictable
Darn auto anythings.,... technology is so great when it works and so frustrating when it won't.
many hugs and scritches to you. i hope you're having a lovely evening.

There was lots of early whining for dinner, a sure sign she was going up. Sigh! Her liver still is uncomfortable with long hours in blue. and she might have dipped her paw into the lagoon just before that +6.

@Liz - It was a beautiful, almost classic curve day, until Ms. Liver decided to speak. On the BFF, Neko is VERY food focused and it helped her learn how to use the autofeeder very quickly. It does crack me up how she can spend hours near it.

@Mary - The rocket ship departure was scheduled a little earlier today. An early nadir for Neko is often a hint that will happen. The funny thing about the theatres is that we moved our shot time earlier a couple of months ago, so we could go to later movies and be home in time for nadir. But the Hobbit is so long that none of the local theatres have it scheduled at normal later movie times. And  on the predictable. Our friends called yesterday morning asking if we could go to the movie last night, and all I could answer was "maybe, I'll know closer to shot time". I'm learning to be very flexible and impromptu with the moment.
