1-6 Little Man AMPS 87/+2 52/+2.5 49/+3 71/PMPS 112/+2 113/+4 104

when is +1 due? or are you getting a +1.5 or +2?
is he eating okay?
Just gave him a very little amount of food at +1...I did mix some 4 and 9...but it was such a small amount. Planning on getting a +2 cause he doesnt really move much at +1

So 45 mins to +2. He is eating but I gave less at breakfast than normal and giving smaller snacks.

I also suspect the 3% I was using yesterday might have upset him...it was fish.

Was going to ask if he had eaten any food that could have caused the diarrhea.
He has eaten before but since I was feeding every hour he was getting 9% that is supposedly in gravy (not much like the ff) and the whitefish mixed...so may have been too much. Today we are doing turkey 4% and the 9 which we've done before no issues

Thanks everybody! Yes Elise it is very kind of him to do it when I could be home and also not in middle of night LOL

71 @+3. The food has kicked in. He really does want me to leave him alone. Does he need to eat right now?

I am not gonna lie after all the excitement I'm kind of glad to see a low blue...still perfectly acceptable number. :)

Ended up needing to call vey for civvie today...uti I guess never went away just stopped antibiotics a couple days ago and she was struggling today :( trying stronger meds and if doesnt work furthur testing....

It's been kind of a low day for me....feeling frustrated today about the uti...nervous for her that something could be causing it...

That is an excellent pmbg. Still in normal numbers. You might see more action tonight.

What were the antibiotics for? Was a culture run? Seems when it rains it pours.:bighug::bighug:
So original dose was 62.5 twice daily clavamox 14 days for a suspected uti. It was suspected because she didnt have enough urine for them to test since she was constantly dribbling.

Now she is on 25mg once daily of marbofloxacin(zeniquin) 10 days. Didnt take her back in as during course of treatment she went back to normal urination. He just gave new meds to tey.

Now if it comes back they want to do more testing as it means something could be causing uti...

Was a urinalysis or urine culture done to determine that it was a UTI? Or was she put on antibiotics based on symptoms? If it indeed a UTI, sometimes you need a longer course than 10-14 days.

The other thing that presents as a UTI but is actually not, is Idiopathic Cystitis (FLUTD). Episodes are triggered by stress. My civvie Budge started having what we thought were UTIs but it turned out she had IC/FLUTD. We think she was feeling insecure with the amount of attention Bandit was getting after her diabetes diagnosis. She was also on dry food. Switching her to wet food and giving her a lot of TLC took care of it.

Hoping the Zeniquin takes care of the problem :bighug:

Forgot to post he was 113 @ +2 should I get a +3 which is now or wait till +4. I did feed a snack at +1 and 2
Feed at +3 and wait till +4 to test. Unless he wouldn't mind a +3. If he is flat, you needn't stay up till +4!

Yeah I know all about idiopathic cystitis..that is what LM was dx with years ago and had crystals blockage twice.

Her diet was changed with LM as she was overweight and we decided it was better for her in long run...I also feed her smaller meals and snacks along with LM so she doesnt feel left out and she wants to eat anyway.

The only way we were able to keep his at bay was the script diet by hills...but since fd he is off it altogether as it is super high carb. So far so good. We also have a water fountain that helps him want to drink lots of water. Actually funny story his high carb can food the 23 and 28 I keep in hypo kit is the script c/d Lol
