Good morning LL,

Thank you all who sent eating vines to Jetta last night. I ended up syringe feeding her at +3.5 and then on my third time up with her, she finally ate a good amount on her own overnight at +9.5. This morning she ate fairly well, and all the gurgling and sputtering I could her in her abdomen last night seems to have quieted down. Hopefully whatever was wrong is solved now. Overall she seems perkier too, she's wandering around the house now instead of curled up in a ball. *whew*

I hope everyone has a Happy Friday. It seems like a lot of kitties we under the weather last night. Sending healing vines and warm thoughts to all who need them.

Great news....keep feeling better Jetta! And come down off that pink floor, too...the only pink we want to see on you is that adorable sweater!

Hi guys .. glad to hear that Jetta's belly is feeling better .. looks like she is holding steady on the pink floor so far today .. let's bring it down ok? Have a great weekend guys!

Yay! I'm so glad to hear she is eating again. I think it's not so unusual for civies but is sure scarey with a sugar cat. Good job, Jac! You are a great bean. Happy Friday!

Appy back! YAY!! Maybe now that she feels better her numbers will come down a bit. That is as flat as flat gets! What does flat pink portend?

Jetta is pretty sick. I hate to ask for vines but I've seen the power of LL at work and I know Jetta needs it.

She is having a fairly serious IBD flare. I've been wracking my brain all day and I believe one of the foods from the 1/3 food trial set this in motion. I think I know which one but I can't be sure. Anyway, she appears to be hydrated (maybe a tiny bit dehydrated, but not much) and I'm syringe feeding her now every 3 hours with lots of water mixed in. A ketone check at PM +3 was negative. She's having lots of bloody stool and is generally miserable.

Jaclyn I am sorry to read this - poor Jetta! I know so little on IBD, but you and jetta will be in y thoughts. I send positive thoughts, and as many healing vines that I can muster. Be better soon little one.

Vines and snowflakes are heading your way! Is feeding baby food an alternative. It's much easier on the gut.

Poor Jetta and poor you! I am so sorry to hear about her flare up. Sending vines and healing energy to you both. Zener is sending healing energy too.

You've got all the vines we have. Please don't "hate to ask" - we're all in this dance together! Fortunately the ketone test was negative, and fortunately it looks like you've narrowed down the cause. Feel better, little one :YMHUG: !

(((Jaclyn))): Sending you tons of healing vines, snowflakes, and white light for Jetta. I'm so sorry she is having a flare of IBD. I hope she gets through it quickly, feels better, and starts to eat.

Thank you everyone. At least she's coming down a little, so maybe that's a good sign too. I'm going to get some rest for a few hours.

Good Idea Sienne on the baby food. I'll grab some first thing tomorrow morning. Unfortunately I used the jars I had when the drooler was sick a few months ago. I never re-stocked thinking that would jinx us.
 
Sorry to hear about the IBD flare up. Hopefully it will be gone as quick as it came on. Hang in there, you are strong and will get through this! Keeping you in our thoughts and hoping things will improve very soon for you.
