As expected hi AMPS, 3 units administered but I believe it has to be reduced soon.
Tubby's system is accepting and saturated with the insulin. I will be testing very conservatively for the next day or two
until my test strips arrives.
Let's see if he hits the blue or even green today after missing a shot last night!
I will test him only at +6 today unless it becomes absolutely necessary at that point to save test strips.

Hi, Happy Wednesday.. I hope your strips come soon.. you might need to test again in a few hours.. because that is a pretty significant drop for +2, anyway.. happy to see the #s coming down & wishing you both a wonderful day! :-D

I agree with Nicole. If a Lantus curve is going to be relatively flat, one clue is that the +2 is very close to your pre-shot number. With that big of a drop, I'd encourage you to get a +4 at the latest.

FYI: I usually order a big batch of strips from Hocks (there's a link at the top of the board). Their prices are very competitive and they ship quickly.

I had to make sure whether he was going up or down, he could have been going south at +12.
I injected 2 units simply because I won't be up to test tonight, I'm literary exhausted and didn't want to take any chances.
