Good Saturday Morning, Everyone,
The LagoonMeister is resting on shore, having bounced overnight. He woke us up a minute before the "ducks" alarm with kitty kisses and ear licks. He had only eaten half of his nighttime food (I think he doesn't care for the current batch of Wellness Chicken; he only ate the Fancy Feast T&G!). This morning we had a good test, good shot, breakfast (again, only the FF T&G portion of breakfast was eaten and the Wellness Chicken left for "later"; he will probably go back to it). We had a schmooze for about 1/2 hour and now he is chillaxin' in his little bed by the radiator. Temperature today is now in the low twenties, but expected to drop throughout the day.
No outdoor adventure for the beans today: we are going to see the Met Opera in HD (Berlioz's "Les Troyens") at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. It is a wonderful work and the cast is very strong. It is, however, quite long (over 5 hours with intermissions) and begins at noon. So Rusty will get an early lunch and then an afternoon snack in his automat. He can listen to the Met broadcast on the radio.
Wishing all a good day and sending healing vines to all sick kitties and beans,
Ella & Rusty
