Good morning! Happy Caturday!

Ripley gave me quite a scare yesterday. But she earned a dose decrease, I earned lots of chocolate, and this morning things are looking good! I love it when she gives me an AMPS of 123; maybe it's a sign that today things will be "as easy as 1,2,3."

Ripples is back on her rocking chair, ready for her post-breffis nap. When doesn't she nap? I've noticed that she is sleeping so much more over the last couple of months, with less interactions with her beans -- but I may expand on that in a future condo...

Today is "Put Away Christmas Day" in our home; also "Order More Test Strips Day" since I went through a lot (between yesterday and being home over xmas break).

Enjoy you day, cats and beans! Sending much love to those who need it (or don't!).
I wish there was a heart smilie...

I am so thankful for the help and encouragement I receive here ~ I cannot express that enough!

Re: 1/5 Ripley AMPS 123

I saw that 20 in your condo when I returned home from work yesterday  WoW. Glad you caught that number.

Congratulations and Good Luck with the new dose.

I too like the 123 AMPS and hope your day is easy peasy and just fine :)

Re: 1/5 Ripley AMPS 123

Morning guys, nice amps! Hope Ripley goes slow and steady into the green lagoon today, no dives ok? Have a great Caturday and good luck putting the Christmas stuff away! I have to get started on that myself, been hard since I have been sick. Have a great day!

So far so good!

Dyana: Wow is right! That's what I get for recently bragging about her consistent numbers  .

Michelle: Hope you feel better! And thanks for your help yesterday!

No dip today!! :thumbup

Ripley and I just enjoyed a cat nap together.

Also just ordered some Fortiflora (no tummy probs, but it can't hurt, right?) and some Halo chicken treats (also can't hurt, right?). Oh, and more test trips. I have a feeling my hungry hungry Rippo is more excited about the treats than the strips. (She's not starving - it's just one of her many nicknames).

We had a pretty mellow day. It was a get-things-done-around-the-house kind of day, so I was able to do tests. Ripley seems to be doing ok with her new dose (so far so good!).

I noticed that there were 2 times today that she left her rocking chair to explore around the house, even in a couple of rooms where she never/rarely goes. (Ripley is often bullied by our civvie to stay in certain parts of the house; when we first moved into this house 9 yrs ago, Ripley wasn't "allowed" to leave the laundry room for several months. It breaks my heart sometimes that R. has such a passive personality.) Anyway, it was nice and somewhat unusual to see the level of confidence I saw in R. today. I wonder if it's related to her feeling better today after her bout with the 20s yesterday; or simply a weird fluke to keep me guessing.

Other than that, it was a typical day for her: sleep, sleep, and more sleep. Which sounds like a great plan for tonight as well.

What an amazing recovery from the drop and then going up last night. Lovely cycle today. I'm glad she's out and more confident today.

You all did a great job yesterday. One thing I would suggest is to mark the cans and pouches with a sharpie as to their %carbs...that will make it easier for DH in a rush.

Glad you got the decos down. Lots of work!

Have a great evening!

Thank you, Marje!

One of the things I did today: Ripley has her own shelf in the kitchen, full of her supplies (food, meters, treats, binder w/info, etc.) and I reorganized it. Now EVERYTHING is labeled, incl. all food %, w/ sharpie  I even made a toolbox for low #s/hypo (gravy pouch, karo, lancets, strips, instructions, etc., even chocolate ;-). And on the box in large letters I wrote 'DON'T PANIC.' (That's more for ME than DH).

I'm also in the process of compiling info for DH: ordering info for the various supplies, even my FDMB info in case he needs to post here  . Can never be too prepared, right?

Outstanding! I never put chocolate in my hypo box as I ate it all when she was high    that stresses me more
;-)
