What a great AM cycle for Mannie yesterday - Blue as far as the eye could see.  And we didn't even get one his his signature +9/10 spikes. :-D  We did get however another yellow PM cycle... Yesterday was so similar to the day before - we seem to have new pattern emerging here. Well, all in all: the good news is that these cycles are steady consistent, more or less even. That part I like. Now if he can just find the green floor. Right Mannie? green, OK? Lubs ya big guy - you did great yesterday! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Mannie had a great day yesterday - his best buddy was back. He and Nicholas really do get along well. DGS will still come and help with Mannie's testing. He is so cute: he knows how close he can get, that he has to be quiet, that he can't touch while Mannie is being tested. His job is to hold the test strips container while I test. And he does, and watches. Mannie is as good as gold too - it's like he knows DGS will do as he needs to, so he waits for me to do my thing. Just like BJ used to do in the mornings. WOOT! looks like I may have a new assistant! :-D :-D Mannie is still watching over his nanner stash. Yesterday one of the old nanners made it over to the new nanner pile. - whoa!! maybe the integration has begun.  We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from the Nanner King. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa continues to raid his auto feeder, and I am still running interception, again and again and again ... What else is new there. Though I did miss one today, like yesterday, and had to re-serve....    Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty today - through Friday. Paws crossed her that we will have good weather, and not as nasty as yesterdays, and that I will be able to take him out for a short kid hike, something near a river. :-D :-D I know I won't be able to visit condos until late in the evening - sorry to miss you all, but do know that I am thinking of you all, and your furkids. think BLUE, think GREEN kitties - WOOT!

Hey everybody! WOOT!!!! heeheehee - I just thought I'd say that. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... what shall we do today? It's really wet and stuff here, I think I could use some more snow stuff. Maybe we could go to Rusty's and dig snow tunnels and stuff. :-D or maybe some sledding. OH I KNOW! BOBSLEDS! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! See you guys soon! ~~ Mannie

and completely OT: Here are some photos form the river walk/hike that Nicholas and I did yesterday. This is the Sammamish River, near Redmond

Re: 1/5 Mannie AMPS 313, +2 314, +4 202

Hi guys,
Michelle, I hope you're out enjoying a river hike with Nicholas. Loved the pics from yesterday. Nice that you don't have to wash those jeans!!
Isn't it great that Nicholas takes his role in Mannie's testing so seriously!

Ella

Hey Mannie, I've got nice snow. We can build a fort or go sleding or try the toboggan shoot in Lake Placid. You slide down onto the ice of Mirror Lake. See ya later.

Rusty

Hi Michelle. So adorable that Nicholas is assisting with Mannie's testing! Love all the pics of him having such a great time. Looks like Mannie's headed the right direction!

Re: 1/5 Mannie PMPS 158

158 @ PMPS, 153 @ +2 and will you look at that! Go Mannie!

Thanks everyone for visiting Mannie while I cared for DGS. We went to his favorite river today - what fun. They even had few patches of snow. He had a great time, and once again loved the brief stint in the car where he can pretend to be driving. It is so fun - just cracks me up.

Thanks Ann, Anne, Anne, Ella, Devon, Ann, and Linda for checking up on Mannie - it is appreciated! Forgive, once again, my condensed update. He had a great day - a nice slide down from that bounce, nice and slow. We have a great PMPS, and equally great +2, so now we wait and see what he decides to do with it...
Linda - yup! the integration has begun. Now we have two that are in the mile.   I do so hope you are right on DGS - he loves outdoors, so maybe he will. :-D
Ann, Devon, Ella, Anne - true on DGS -he has filled i for BJ - it's really kinda cute...
Ella - so true on those jeans! MUD COVERED!
Anne and Liz - he did! col, huh!
Ann - you are right: nothing stops us! we got rain or sine. We even had a few snowflakes while we were there.  And I love my new assistant. Love Tess's comment btw. OMG on that photo - too funny!!!!

Tess - BOBSLEDS!!! not bobs's sleds... heeheehee... You'll see - it s a ton of fun! we can take turns. You can be the driver cuz I know you like to go FAST! WOOT! I'm bringing a batch of hot toddy's woo, to keep us warm. and did you hear???? There is a toboggan shoot near Rusty's! SO SO COOL!
Hey Maggie - cool! We will all come and picks you up, the KTSS and stuff. That way you won't have to go smelling like the vetty, ya know?
Rusty - dude!! you guys have a toboggan shoot?????????????????? AWEOME!! Let's go! oh this is so cool! The guys will love it! ~~ Mannie

Re: 1/5 Mannie PMPS 158, +2 153

Nice flat blue going there, Mannie! :-D You certainly have got those bounces under control anti-jinx

Mannie, that was fun! I lubs going FAST!  on the name though! Hey we gotta do KTSS for Rocket too. He feels kinda woozy from the vetty! -- Tess

Re: 1/5 Mannie PMPS 158, +2 153, +3.5 143

Hi again,
Great that you and Nicholas had such fun today at the river, with some snow.

Yo Mannie, The bobsled was so fast! faster than the toboggan, but I think the toboggan was more fun 'cause we could see where we were going. Snowshoeing tomorrow?

Rusty

Re: 1/5 Mannie PMPS 158, +2 153, +3.5 143

Sorry to get to your condo so late today and to miss yesterday. Glad to see those lovely blue cycles Mannie is having and that one of them is tonight! Go Mannie. Love how he and DGS get along and how Nicholas holds the test strip container and knows not to touch Mannie. It says a lot for Mannie that he is so calm to have DGS sitting there, too.

Love the photos!!! Big year old boy now!! He's so adorable.

Have a wonderful surf tonight King BananieMannie!

176 @ +5. :-D up a little, but still blue. Stay there Mannie - ride the wave!

Hi Marje - no problem, really. He's had some great blue cycles, not to get them back into the greens... :-D It is very cool hoe DGS and Mannie go through the test routine. They both are so quiet and still - you can see it in DGS face - she so wants to touch Mannie, but he doesn't. Mannie too - he sits and waits, seems to know that DGS will leave him be. Love it all! thx on the pics - growing up so fast! LOL on the King BananieMannie! - been a while since I've heard that one - always made me smile.

Hi Ann - I LOVE CALVIN AND HOBBES!!! That was a perfect fit for today - for the KITS, and for DGS and me. thanks!!!! "Let's go exploring!" :-D :-D :-D   one can only hope on the bounces - will we ever? I keep hoping that they will become less and less - don't we all!

Hey Ella - it was a good day - one of his fav places!

Hi Liz - ME TOO! so so SWEET!

Tess - heeheehee on the name thing - i was only making fun... :?  i eman seriously -dnt you wonder why they call them that. cuz well.... who was Bob anyways, and why cal a sled that? I dunno.... You sure were a good driver - You could hardly see over the top of the edge - how you do that anyways? All I saw as Rusty's fur flapping in all that wind... oh! yes on Rocket - we gotta do that for sure!! See you !~~ Mannie

Rusty - dude!! I know - I lubbed it. SPEED DEMONS we all were! Tess sure did a good job driving - she could hardly see over the top edge. heeheehhe on the toboggan -that is true! plus I liked the sliding on the ice at lake placid. I think snowshoeing for tomorrow would be the best! see you! ~~ Mannie

hi roni - just saw that, maybe try baby food? when Mannie was vomiting a while back that worked well - very small amts not too close together. I am at a loss otherwise...
