Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy Sunday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug are very busy resting.... They say Sunday is sleep in day... I dunno - I really think they are gearing up for holiday parties. Yupp! That's it! well ok then! OH! They are working on New Year's Eve pizzas. Bells or smething I think. I dunno.... A big secret they say... so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. For my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... SWEET!, and perfect for a fall day. OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts standard with every delivery!

I hope everyone had a great Caturday. Mine was good, rather laid back, just a relaxing Caturday. SWEET! I did manage to get a few errands done, we now have food once again, and the furkids pantry is now stocked. I spent the rest of the day at Erin's and Jason's, to watch Nicholas and William so that mom and dad could have some adult time. We really did have the best of times. Here's what I wrote ladt night about the day: "Hi everyone! happy caturday night. PIZZA NIGHT! yummmmmmmmmm! I hope your day has been a good one. I spent most of mine at my DD's and DSIL, watching the boys so mom and dad could go to the movies, see the new Hobbitt one. Guess it was good - they enjoyed it. I never did make that walk, just ran out of time today. It's OK though, the boys and I had a nice time together. it really is so cool to see William being so much more interactive, and seeing Nicholas take the time to be with him, show him things, nice to see how they are at home when things are relaxed. Really kinda of fun. The weather was great, cold (!) but great. The sun was out, so we went for a walk to the local elementary school and played on their playground equipment. One knew it was cold when we get to the one set-up they had and part of the ground area was a sheet of ice. we avoided that, he hit the slides and decided to go for the big one. no big deal really, as he does those all the time, but little did we know that the bottom on the chute was ice covered, so he hit that and flew off the end, out about 4 feet, lol.... it was kinda funny, and he was able to laugh it off, after one tear down the cheek. i swear these slides... lately they have been his nemesis. At Juanita yesterday he slipped while top side, ended up rolling down the chute, coming out the end on his back, head first,. At least that slide slows the slider at the end so all was well, but it really freaked him out. Tears over that one, required short break to regroup. What is it with slides these past couple of days.... anyways, it was a great afternoon outdoors. and (!!) I got to watch a movie. LMAO. Nicholas decided I had to see Wreck it Ralph, so I stayed a bit longer and watched some of it with him. Funny - he was so thrilled he had a movie buddy. Of course I took lots of photos... duh!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were GOOD kitties yesterday, even Lola. Well, sorta on Lola.... Crazy kitty ruled the roost when I got home. Running and leaping and jumping EVERYWHERE, including up and in my wood slat blinds.      Lucky for her she didn't break any of them  Sometimes I think Bug is her catalyst for alot of this go amuck behavior. One has to love it. Bug can just look at her and off they go, him hot on her heels, nipping at her tail. She so loves to play, that all it takes is a look from one of the others, and off she goes. ZIPPPPPPPPPPPPP! RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! CR-RASHHHHHHHHHHHH! Hi MOM!    This was great: last night I had made a chicken ceasar salad, as part of my dinner. I always put extra chicken in it, for Bug. It is very Mannie-like, as he would do this too. Bug has carried on the tradition, and he will sit right next to me, gently take the piece from my fingers. so so Mannie anywyas... back to Elsa. She decided yesterday to come and sit by Bug, get her fair share. A rarity. SO there they were, literally side by side, he was wary, she was the queen. Anytime she didn't get the first bite she'd whack Bug, as if to say: "Me first! I am the boss here!" He never left though, even after one of her WHACKS! she does hit hard.....  as always.... Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

I posted this last night on FB: Lola: Nanner Nirvana: I found her in the nanner stash, totally into the nanners, very calm, relaxed, laid back. (lola????) She has never really spent time with the nanners like this before, and they are always out, available. This afternoon I watched her go and lay on top of them, no pile making or arranging, just laying on them. It was like watching Mannie all over again. Of course I was camera-less. By the time I came back with it she has begun to play with them. It truly was a Mannie moment. I truly think it was his was of saying "Hi Mom!" Message received big guy! cat_pet_icon

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. An out and about for sure, but I think it will be local... to the shore if it isn't too cold, or wet, out there. I may even just sit down with a good book, and read. it has been ages since I have done that.... ages! It seems like I said that last weekend too. maybe this Sunday I will actually do that. maybe.... ;-)

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

Re: 1/5 LOOSE LIPS: boys, slides, & good times... Happy Sund

Morning Michelle ~O) ~O)
Thank you Miss Elsa, really needed that extra jolt of caffeine today :-D
Love William in his jumperoo!! He is just adorable, and growing so fast-it is sweet how Nicholas treats him. Looks like no jealousy there.
Bug knows who the boss is, and is wise to watch out for Lola's smacks. The typo made me  ! Thanks ;-)
It is so nice when you have two who play together. They tire each other out.
I wonder what Mannie is whispering in Lola's ear? Keep making my momma happy, maybe?

Have a wonderful Sunday, wherever you may end up :-D

Oh my gosh, that's so cute with the nanners! I gotta go to the pet store soon to look for these, even though Chyna isn't much of a play kitty. Lola looks so happy! :-D Good for Elsa, to show Bug who is boss  Good thing he is easygoing :-D I hope you get to that book you keep wanting to read too ;-) Have a good Sunday!

How cute with Lola and the nanners. How funny Elsa showing Bug who's boss with the chicken.

I'm glad Nicholas didn't get hurt on the slide. How crazy. I hope you got a walk in or had time to read that book today.

Hi Everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We did well her, had a nice laid back, yet productive day.... until the water line to the toilet went KA-BOOM! You gotta love it. I'm sitting her answering an email and I hear this gawd awful noise, like something exploded. well, yes it did. The water line to the toilet blew. :o       I had water spewing everywhere.... :? :? WHAT FUN!. not. :-x so water is now turned off, now to fix the piece of ****. darn it! Well the word choice was little stronger than that.....   sure am glad that there is more than one toilet in this house. HAHAHAHA. not. The rest of the ay was great though. I decided to head on out early this morning, maybe catch the sunrise. Well I missed the beginnings of it by 10 minutes or so, as it took me forever to bundle up so I wouldn't freeze. Darn temps had dropped since that 31 this morning. So missed the sunrise/first light, and as luck would have it, I then dropped my camera, at the shore, face down lens open in the sand.  I swore alot at that point. well, good deal was that the sand was frozen, kinda lumped together so I was able to get it clean without sand particles getting into the lens.  Got really lucky on that one. anyways.... darn cold down there, but it was a nice time. I also made the sunset at picnic point too, just on a whim, wanting something pretty to look at to wrap up the day. Sheshhh was that ever gorgeous.   Earlier in teh day I went to check out another pool, as Nicholas's regular pool will be closed next week for maintenance. It could be doable, if he likes it at all. It's an OK pool, not as much there as at Lynnwood, but does have some of the things he likes. I had to really laugh at their family changing room. Lynnwood has spoiled me... this one was a 4 foot by 4 foot "stall", with a curtain, and a bench. no shower, no toilet, no sink, no infant/toddler table no nothing...... and there was only one of them. HAHAHA. Anyways - I took some photos, posted them with a link for E/J to show Nicholas so he can see if he likes it at all. We shall see.....

Hi Jane - I love that jumperoo too, so does William, and he works all the stuff fairly well. I do love the way Nicholas is with his brother - very caring It is so cool to see. LOL on the typo! I had so hoped I fixed that before anyone read it....  I think so too when those two play together. they are a good combo, and get along well too. I wonder too on Mannie, maybe it is as you say. I like that. :-D

Hi Rachel - THX on the nanners, it was really very cool. First time for her, and it hasn't been repeated today. I wonder if she will. The nanners were such a Mannie thing, he LOVED them,. I hope you can find one for Chyna. Mannie wasn't a player either, but the did like the nanners. If you can't find them in a pet store, try Amazon. I bought mine there. I loved it when Elsa showed Bug who was the boss - way too funny.

Hi Carla - THX on all! The nanners were so great, it was such a Mannie moment. It was great with Elsa too - out of character for her, so it was nice to see her assert herself some. ME TOO on the slide thing! poor kid. It was pretty crazy. freaked him out more than anything else, as he so didn't expect it. Bounced back well though. No book, but I did walk! :-D

Hi Ann - I think so too on Lola and the nanners. it was out of character for her, she just doesn't play with them, so when she did, I just had a feeling that ti was Mannie orchestrated. oh yes on cute little Bug - not as innocent as he pretends to be, and Lola is suckered into it every time. The girl loves to play! I like that: Shadow Paw! TRUE!
