Hi folks,

Well off to another green morning. I am so grateful. I am pretty sure I shot a fur shot because I could smell the Lantus after the shot. :banghead::banghead: Junior was not in his usual spot this morning high above Jack on the cat tree. He was hiding right by the door to do a run and escape drive. Unfortunately for him Momma has experience with escape artists and returned him to his natural perch for his morning routine.:D:D:p. It is interesting to see how much more personality he has with his BG figured out. :)
So I am home today for the most part and am on Poop watch. I called the Vet and she doubled his meds for today to see if he responds. If not tomorrow may be a long cold drive for him. :arghh:

I ordered some new probiotics for him so that is in the works to! Thank you @julie & punkin (ga)

Linda have you tried Slippery Elm Bark? I give it mixed in with Aloe Vera juice and digestive enzymes twice a day every day. If you decide to make sure you give it at least 2 hours before or after any meds including insulin.
I use SEB from Mountain Rose Herbs in Oregon it's sweet smelling (don't ever use if it doesn't smell sweet) the Aloe Vera juice is Lily of the Desert Inner fillet only and the Digestive Enzymes are Dr. Goodpet Feline digestive Enzymes. It works wonders for Fritz I use to give him Miralax now I don't have to. The three are much better for him than Miralax. JMHO)
I mix all three together with some warm water it gels and I mix in his food he loves it. If you get time go to foodfurlife website under how to scroll to the bottom click and there is some really helpful info.

thanks Deb I will look at that next! This mega colon is proving to be a challenge for sure.
