Hi all,

I miss LL!!!!!!!!!  Work is killing me and I haven't had time two days in a row to make Jetta's condo or visit condos until the evening. I think I'm going through withdrawal.

Jetta has had a decent day so far today number's wise, I think maybe she cleared her bounce, but we may be back on the trampoline. PM cycle will tell that tale. Jetta's not herself today. She's been sleeping more than normal, low appetite, and had some puddinpoo. She had pukus this morning an hour before AMPS from having an empty stomach- she didn't eat well overnight. Hopefully she starts to perk up this evening.

We're looking at an increase tomorrow PM if it seems her bounce has cleared and we don't have any super action tonight or tomorrow. I'm getting ready to start a super-hectic travel schedule the end of next week, so I'd like to have her in a better place before I leave her in DHs hands. Oh well, I'm not doing very well with Zener's resolution of worry less, pet more. I need to work on that...

be back in a few to visit condos!

Hi Jac, I hope Jetta is feeling better tonight. It is really hard not to worry about our sugar cats. I am thinking that Zener may have meant something more along the lines of "more petting so that you worry less", meaning that just petting your kitty reduces stress and worry.

Re: 1/5 Jetta PMPS 343 not eating

Jetta ia refusing to eat. She had a few licks of food shortly after PMPS (7 pm EST) but she's refusing anything else. She at at AM +9 about 2-3 oz. How long should I wait in the PM cycle to see if she eats before I syringe feed her?

Re: 1/5 Jetta PMPS 343 not eating

Have you tried FortiFlora for the puddingpoo? It also works great as an appetite enhancer. My cats LOVE it.

Re: 1/5 Jetta PMPS 343 not eating

If this keeps up for more than 24 hours, I think a vet visit is in order. Also, please get a ketone test any time you can just as a bit of prevention.

Re: 1/5 Jetta PMPS 343 not eating

Hi Dyana - I don't have an FortiFlora, I've never used it with Jetta. I may have to think about having some in our arsenal though.

Thanks Sienne. I did get a ketone check earlier today (+9ish) and it was Neg. I'll keep checking often. I'll get her to the vet tomorrow if she still seems off.

I gave her a pepcid, sometimes that stimulates her appy. And she ate a few more licks from yet the 3rd menu option. Thank goodness for my civvies and ferals, They may have quite the smorgasboard tomorrow if we have to keep searching for the the can of food that holds the magic.

Re: 1/5 Jetta PMPS 343 not eating

This happened with Zener last week. He refused to eat after his pm shot and his BG crashed. We learned real quick how to syringe feed. He did fine. We gave him cypro and bupe and he started eating again. Sending eating vines to Jetta. We understand about the appy issues. Paws crossed.

Re: 1/5 Jetta PMPS 343 +1.5 341 not eating

Hi Jac, I don't have experience with not eating(!), so I'll just send Jetta some "let's eat now" vines. Come on, Jetta--let's eat!

I'm hoping that if you wait just a little bit, and then try again, that he'll eat for you. Sending eating

vines to Jetta.
