Happy Fursday afternoon. Sending healing vines, snowflakes, and white light to Tifil and Rocket.
Gracie had a little baby bounce starting last night and is clearing it now. Whew....I was worried that now she has absolutely no influence from the f1u that she might not like her c1u. cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon She's gotten some rest today which is good for her. We had our usual snuggles/cuddles last night, I got up for the T/F/S this morning then went btb with Mike and at her +2, she hopped on me....nose to nose...MEW!!! And then purr purr purr.
Tobey's cousin is on the cover of Cat Fancy...Feb issue. Of course, while he is a handsome kitty with those lovely SF ears, we think our Tobey is even more handsome with his big, round eyes; his perfect triangle of white; and his mackerel tabby pattern.
Yesterday was a holy carp day for me. I'm taking public comments on one of my big copper mines and got in yesterday to find I had 2,000 emails. I wish I could say that was an exaggeration but my Outlook gives me the exact number. I spent the day sorting them into pdf portfolios and still had 1300 left to sort by the end of the day. Then DM calls and says she forgot that two of her bills come to her email; she gave me the password so I could get the bills and pay them (as I am doing all her financial stuff), opened it up and, again....I am not kidding...she had 13,000 emails in her inbox.
 She had not been able to check it since mid-Nov and she does not have any filters on it to weed out the junk AND she shops online like crazy. So last night I spent trying to sort those and delete all the garbage. I made it through 4,000 of them and found one of the bills.
So this morning, after Gracie's +2, I grabbed a quick breffis, took Gussie to the vet (quarterly blood check), and when I came home, Mike and I checked Grace, hopped into our hiking clothes, packed a lunch, and spent several hours hiking in Ventana Canyon which is one that we see from our ridgeline. It is one of our fav hikes...gorgeous day, creek running, FABULOUS!!!
Thank you Gracie for time to do that. Now we will put away the Christmas decos.
Hope your day has been great and I'll be back later to visit condos. Not sure when I will tackle the other 9,000 emails of my mom's....tomorrow I guess. :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH:
