Happy Sunday, LL! I started chatting on condos and forgot ours  Really tierd today @-) but I go back to work tomorrow so I'm not doing a btb, maybe a small nap later. I sometimes wonder if my meter is stuck...Chyna likes to do repeat numbers. Which is great, if they are green or blue! Not pink, blech. This morning she is copying last nights +4...Thanks for visiting us last night, Suzanne, and your good wishes and fuds info :-D . Yesterday: Chyna 1/4

Today it's -36C with a -46C windchill (-33F/-51F windchill)...now that I'm plowed out and can go somewhere, I don't want to!

Chyna met me this morning in the hallway, waiting for breffis ;-) Pokeys done, and now she has eaten and is purring away on a towel (I have beds everywhere, and she picks the towel I threw in front of the washer for laundry later  ). We did add 1 teensy piece of the raw food to her mini meal at +4 last night, and again to the morning meal today. So far (anti-jinx) no barf :? I really hope she's not waiting till tomorrow morning when I leave for work to go low...

Thanks again for all your info and support, LL. Each and every one of you is so special! Thanks for visiting us today :-D

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380

Good morning Rachel! Great info on yesterday's condo!!
Chyna...Get down here!!
Good luck with the new fuds. Sounds like the wee bits are helping her tummy get used to it.
I don't want to go out today either (but have to), as we have -51C with windchill. The big dog went down on the snow and I had to carry him in, the pug froze up on the porch, so I will be cleaning up an indoor mess soon enough. It's just too hard on these animals feeties.
Have a fab day today. Hope you stay in and warm.

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380

Too funny Rachel on Chyna picking the one towel that needs to be laundered, Kitties are weird and cute like that aren't they. Mine like to lay on a jacket or coat that I've laid on the counter instead of there multitude of sleepy places as well (lol)
I saw what you posted over on Siennes page and it does make me feel better knowing that we don't have the temps you have, although I wish you didn't have them either! I do shovel on an occasion when my DH isn't around and it needs it, but for the most part, like today, he is off work so we are trying to tag team the snow and keep it from building too much so there won't be as much for him to do in the morning.
I'm glad to hear she is purring and feeling well. No pukeys Chyna, you have to keep your fuds in your belly sweetheart.
I don't blame you for not wanting to venture out even though you can. Stay safe and warm up there and I hope Chyna comes down to a prettier shade (say Yellow).

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380

Haha, I figured you would, Kim ;-) Thanks for visiting, I hope the info is useful to others too. Sounds like we're both freezing today! Sorry the puppies feetsies are so cold, poor babies. And poor bean out cleaning it up!

Hi Lauren, I'm glad you have a DH to help (or do  ) that shovelling! It's one of my least favorite things  Cats can be quite odd in their sleeping place choices, sometimes they look so uncomfortable, yet comfortable? This bean learned her lesson, no straight raw food to start out with, mix in old food/don't make cat puke... :o

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380

Hi Rachel,

I don't blame you for not wanting to go out! That is just too dang cold :o We will be suffering here with 70 degree weather and sunshine   But, remember how hot it gets in the summer ;-)
Glad that Chyna is keeping the raw down (baby steps). I am going to Petco today and will pick up another sample size if they have it. Maybe Cleo will like it if add some toppings.

I am glad Chyna is a purry girl, and hoping she will show you some better colors today!

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380 +2 353

Well, I guess I'll go over to Sienne's condo to see what all the fuss is about!

Wow, your weather is really WEATHER! Glad you finally got plowed out, however. Good luck with the new little frozen bits of raw food. I skimmed through your condo yesterday, but had no experience with any of the things you talked about. It was very impressive, however, with all those data!

Hey Chyna, you can keep on coming down now. You don't want to head up the Pink Team in curling practice!!
~ Rusty

Have a good day, Rachel,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380 +2 353

LOL on Chyna picking the dirty towel...that is SUCH a cat maneuver! Our meter gets "stuck" sometimes, too. Hopefully Chyna will start getting stuck in some blues and greens or at least yellows!

Yikes, that is COLD.....I'll stop whining about our weather now.

Have a great day INDOORS, Rachel!

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380 +2 353

I sure hope Chyna decides to slide down for you!! So annoying to see pink staring at you in the face all the time!!

How in the WORLD do people survive in temperatures that cold? Good Lord!!! It was 60 here yesterday. I'm never complaining about being cold here again, I promise!!!

Have a great day, if you can in that awful cold!!!

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380 +2 353

I hope Chyna keeps sliding down today. That's good the small bits of raw food haven't bothered her tummy. Cats are so funny where they pick to sleep. If you put something new to them somewhere, they have to check it out.

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380 +2 353

Hi Rachel, Come on Chyna, lets make this the magic dose! Glad you got some new foods to try!

Wow, to the cold weather. I thought it was cold here (-12 low) but that's nothing compared what you're dealing with. Stay warm and have a good day!

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380 +2 353 +5.5 315

Chyna sweetie, please keep on sliding down. Neko went up to try and find you but the curling team is really looking for cats in yellow today.

Glad you got rid of your snow. No wonder Chyna is curled up on a towel.

Re: 1/5 Chyna AMPS 380 +2 353 +5.5 315 PMPS 322

Still pink at PMPS...sigh. Lower than AMPS, anyways  We finally caught pee today, and negative ketones. SO that is a yay!

Jane, I'm not very jealous of your summer...but I wouldn't mind your winter  I hope you found some raw for Cleo and that you can convince her to like it :-D It's so much work to find low phos for our kitties, so paws crossed for you ;-)

Hi Ella, I didn't mean to cause a stir  Kim (and Amy) have been making fun of me a few times that I send bad weather to them across Canada so I continued the joke ;-) Thanks for the good luck wishes :-D

Yes Amy, it is such a cat thing  Unfortunately she lost her new spot to the washing machine :o Not sticking to blue or green yet, or yellow  I did have a nice day indoors.

Hi Patty, yep pink is not my favorite! You (sort of) get used to the weather here. And complain lots  I stayed warm inside

Thanks Carla, cats do like to check everything out, even the senior ones ;-) No raw food upset yet!

Melissa, I hope she listens, I'm tierd of dosecreases  I stayed in, so I'm good, not cold yet, haha.

Wendy, that is the cutest emoticon! And was exactly how I felt when I got up until I turned the furnace up! No yellow, yet, so I guess no curling today :?

Well, I hope I needed insulin, cause while I put the cap on the syringe (after I used it on Chyna) it bent (I've never done that one) and went through the cap and poked into my thumb  That's twice this week I've poked myself...I don't know if I should be within reach of sharp objects :? Have a good evening LL, I hope no one follows my pokey example...

Hi Rachel,
Chyna, please come down.

I hope she slides down soon, Rachel.
Yay for negative ketone, and I'm glad she's keeping the raw food down!
Paws crossed she can take it.
