Sid spent all day at the vet and every reading was HI. The vet thinks I gave a fur shot, which is possible, but I'm pretty sure he got the insulin. tonight he is coming down though after his insulin at 5:45. If he is HI again tomorrow, I'm going to suspect that stress is playing a big part.

Thanks for the info about the fluids. Can someone look at Sid's SS and help me figure out his nadir? It seems to vary. tonight he got his shot at 5:45 pm so I may give him the fluids around 10:30 or so. That would be five hours.

I'm sorry I don't have answers for you, but I just read Sid's profile...how wonderful that he landed with you after such a long journey! I have a "thing" for kitties with eye issues; my youngest civvie, Frankie, was passed over for adoption many times because she has severe corneal scarring from a herpes infection she had when she was just 3 weeks old. Everyone who passed her over is a fool, because she is a complete joy, just like Sid. He is one handsome, lucky boy to have found his furever home with you!

Nadirs do vary. It's also hard to know when Sid's current nadir is due to his not eating and being sick. It looks like it's been around +5 or +6 but, it can vary.
