Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is lookin' good this morning and it looks like he'll be heading to the lagoon. He ate all his nighttime food. We had a good test, shot, breakfast of Wellness Turkey, Chicken, and FF T&G. He's in his little bed by the radiator right now. We'll be out at midday, but will test him before we go and leave food for him. Expect to be back by mid-afternoon.

It's a warm +20 degrees F. here this morning. Edward and I are going to do a ski/snowshoe with some of our friends to Grassy Pond, where there is a lean-to where we can have lunch. Lots of snow in the woods and it may be windy. It will be my first time on skis this winter (Edward will snowshoe).

I am sorry I have been so MIA of late... so much going on, and this darn cold - I sleep at night, miss all the condos! Sounds like all is well there. Enjoy the snowshoe/ski today - it sounds wodnerful. Maybe take a few photos? Hope the winds hold off for you!

It is great to read that Rusty is doing so well, back to being the Lagoon Meister. All is well! Well done Rusty!!!

Yikes!! I guess that is warm compared to yesterday. It's 43 degrees here, a heat wave for you guys! :-D Enjoy the ski/snowshoe today, sounds like fun.

Hi guys .. very nice looking start to the day rusty! While the beanz are out in that crazy cold weather, you hold down the fort by the radiator absorbing all that heat so they can snuggle with you when they get home! Enjoy your day out .. have a great weekend!

Hi again,

Rusty was happy to see us when we got home, rather later than we had planned because road conditions were very bad. He had "saved" much of his food and ate it when we got in. The LagoonMeister has nice numbers today and is supervising the Green Lagoon.

Our ski/snowshoe today was tough (normally this is an easy trip, but the very deep snow and windy conditions combined to make it a challenge). Edward and I got there first and discovered that the road in to the trail hadn't been plowed, but there were tire tracks in the snow, so we thought the others had already gone in and decided to drive in. Wrong! There was only 1 car there and the "parking area" had over a foot of snow in it. So I decided to turn around and go out to park by the road because the snow was really coming down and I didn't want to get stuck (only just managed to turn around; thank goodness for 4-wheel drive!). The others arrived and we skied back in to where the trail began. The woods were lovely, the evergreens laden with snow (and they dropped a lot of it on our heads!). Lunch at the lean-to (lots of energy foods) and then back out. Then the drive home (about 40 minutes) in white-out conditions. But we made it and now are relaxing with our fine kitty.

Off to visit a few condos.

Woohoo for the Lagoonmeister! He is rockin' today. Sounds like quite the snow adventure, I'm glad you made it home safely. :-D

Thanks for the invitation. Gabby has joined Rusty at the lagoon. (Why am I picturing chaise lounges and adult beverages?)

Lagoonmeister is right....great day for Rusty! and Ella, your day sounds absolutely wonderful!
Glad you didn't get stuck anywhere and the snowshoeing was fun. Hot toddies in the lean to sound like a great way to end the day :-D Hope Rusty has an equally wonderful evening to complete his terrific day!
