Morning LL! Well Moonie is obviously in a big bounce from her 49 yesterday--But she is eating pretty well(antijinx antijinx antijinx) I will have to use Code to talk to LL as the cats--They read our posts & email!!
I get upset at these stinkin pinks, but she is on Prednisolone after all, & it does play havoc with cats' bg numbers--I knew that going in--
But p-- is coming pretty regular & lactulose has been a life saver-REALLY!
As she is so high I am going over to my house today--so happy--and measure & see how it is going!

No Insurance checks yet--Hate those Laggers, keeping our checks from us for 2 mths now cat(2)_steam
I have used all my home equity line to pay for everything done in the house so That is all gone--
BUT the house is coming along & has walls ceilings, plumbing & electric :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
:mrgreen: Contractors want some $$ before they continue--So we'll see I'll go harrass the NFIP today again!!

Saturday Our City is taking down our 3 mile boardwalk that has been up since 1918, first built with the help of Elephants!! It was so damaged by 17 ft waves, they are tearing it all down :cry: :? :? :?
They have invited all residents & friends to say goodbye to our Old friend, the Boardwalk, where my grandparents took me when I was 8 yrs old & ever since!! This is So Sad, many of my Life Stories were made there... They are going to rebuild it for the summer season, but I hope it will be better & stronger!!
So we will go & cry, & be sad, but happy that they will replace it!

Hi guys .. :YMHUG: You guys have been through so much, yet you keep holding your head up and moving forward .. It takes a strong person to be able to do that Roni .. Now Moonie .. while you always look beautiful, this pink is just not really working for you .. how about some blues today? have a great weekend guys!

Hope Moonie clears the bounce quickly today and you're right back in the good numbers! Glad to hear that you are beginning the rebuilding of your home. The new boardwalk and new home renovations should make everything as beautiful as a shiny new penny.....hope the stress and transition time goes quickly. They may be changing things, but you won't forget how it was and all of those good times with your family on the boardwalk.....those memories are forever.

hi guys sorry about the bounce we had one of those this morning too but look how well Moonie is doing?! So happy! How exciting you are going to check out the new house? I hope the checks come through for you soon!!!! Paws crossed! How sad about the boardwalk. Many memories I am sure. My childhood beachhouse in RI got washed away in the storm. I was so devastated when I found out, we spent every summer there growing up. Luckily my parents had sold it a few years ago because of all the beach erosion but it still was so sad to know it was gone, my grandmother bought it in the 1950's. So I feel ya. Hope you have a very happy Fursday!!!!

Hi Roni, so sorry about the bouncy, but Moonie never wants to stay up there for long! I'm so glad the "P" is good to go, and thank goodness for Lactulose! :-D Very exciting news about the house and prayers for insurance checks to start arriving. That's sad about the Boardwalk where you have so many fond memories, and paws crossed this time it will be just as pretty and much stronger. Take care and hugs and love from us.

It sounds like Moonie is doing OK despite the bounce. Good girl, Moonie!

I am sad about the boardwalk, too. Those old boardwalks are wonderful and hold so many memories. And yours was built with the help of ELEPHANTS! Wow! Give it a fond farewell and hope that the new one will be beautiful and strong.

I hope that everything went well at the house today. Amazing that your insurance money is so slow to reach you. Let's hope that it will arrive soon.

Sorry about the lateness, but again, the day flew by--Moonie hasnt pooped yet today, despite 2 doses of lactulose ohmygod_smile -But she is eating great(Ssshh dont let her hear!) Abd drinking her head off..
Sometimes she just sits by the water bowl with her head in it!!
We call her Sea Hunt for those who remember the Show with LLoyd Bridges-Sea Hunt :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
I think when she goes high she is like she was when she was first DX'd drinking all the time, I guess that's what she felt like--Every day she is different so I sure hope she poops soon..
