Hi folks,

Well last night we did not turn the heat down knowing we were sliding into below zero temperatures again. The one problem with that is the sugar kitty room gets really hot. So this morning Junior was yelling at me to turn the heat down. So we will have to figure that out for sure. It sure was stuffy in there.;) His vocal chords have risen to a new level never heard before. I think I might have to remind him he was born in a camper full of wood on the farm not the palace. :D

There comes a time in a humans life when the temperature and wind chill numbers just don't matter. Its just being careful not to get frostbite today. The one caveat is the sun is out. I have to go to the city and get some supplies today so I may not get an +5 number today.

Healing Vines for those who need them today.

Thank you!
Linda

Hi Linda,
Enjoy the bright, cold, sunny winter day. It is January, after all! We are having the January thaw, and I wish it would hurry up and move out (actually the rain just turned to snow, a hopeful sign).
Maybe you need a separate thermostat for the kitty room!
Lookin' good, Junior!

that is a great idea about the thermostat Ella thanks!

Looking great Junior!

Could you put a double stack of baby gates in the sugar cat roon door? That way you get more air flow to the rest of the house.

That's also another great idea Wendy. However I think the civvies would see it as a fun toy and bust it down. Unless of course we attached it to the wall hmmm:cat:

Wow - look at Junior go! Looks like you're going to get yet one more cat diet-controlled! Well done, Linda - he's looking great!

Did you ever try a little bit of flax seed to see if that would help with Junior's constipation? Poor little guy. If the Fortiflora isn't enough to help his constipation, you might try a different probiotic. I think I might've mentioned before that we give McGee Renew Ultimate Colon Care. Between the probiotic and the tiny bit of flax seed, McGee isn't constipated at all any more.

It's freezing here too - supposed to be 16 overnight. At least the kitties don't have to sleep outside!

I will go try and find a place to order it from before bed. Thanks for the reminder.
I am so lucky to have kitties OTJ. It does appear as though Junior is going that way and I have my fingers crossed for him. I am humbled and grateful that all of you would help me.

16 is cold and awful. As we say here in MN 'its minus enough to freeze your face off". My outside kitties have two warming houses and a barn. I noticed they were full today. I wish they were tame and would just follow me in on days like this.
