Waiting for x number of cycles to increase is indeed hard when numbers are high. Just make the most of these days to catch up on sleep and do things you can't do otherwise. :-)
 
I expect this dose to work eventually - he’s actually crashed on it more than once. I’ll be a little surprised if I have to increase again (though we know anything is possible.) It’s just a matter of waiting, like you said.

I’m actually much less stressed at the moment… even though he’s in the 300’s, I know he has insulin on board and that it is working in his body. Even if it’s not bringing his numbers down a lot yet, the fact that it does at all tells me it’s working behind the scenes, he’s getting fuel for his body to run on, it’s just not built up enough to deal with the whole sugar backlog yet. So… less fear on this human’s part.

Jackson of course is unconcerned as usual, just dozing and purring, because I’m sitting next to him, lol. Though I have to get up and get ready for work very soon…

(And actually now he’s easing down more, may even be in yellow by the time I leave. :) )

Today remained mostly more of the same. Jack did come down starting around +6.5 and nadiring at what looks like almost exactly 200 on the graph - after which he bounced immediately back up to 300 by around +10, then wobbled up and down a gentler rise until a little while after his shot. He is now in a slight decline again.

It is definitely a bounce. Not only did he drop rather quickly to that 200, but by now I recognize the shape of a bounce on the graph. Proves the point of his renewed glucose toxicity, his body reacting like that to 200… well, we will keep back at it.
