WCR: He's been being nosey and pushing things off the table all night, and now he's cleaning himself while laying on the puppy's bed. Numbers are not improving. Was unable to spot test the last couple of days because I didn't have enough strips and knew I wouldn't be able to get more until today. I figured out what seems off about him... the way he's moving. He's slower... takes him a little longer to jump up on the counter where his food is. Almost like he has to think about it a little more and steady himself.

Hi Jordan,

Any chance ur insulin is pooped?
have you been testing for ketones?
any sign of infection and is Willow eating well?

Hey Ronnie...

There's always a chance it's the insulin, but this cartridge was started on 12/20 and his numbers have been bad for awhile now.

He's not cooperative with ketone testing anymore. He rarely uses the litter box while I'm awake and if he does, he makes sure I'm nowhere nearby. The last test I got on him was negative but that was weeks ago. I keep trying though.

No sign of infection and he's eating fine.

It was suggested to me before to take a pee clump and dissolve it in water to test for ketones as long as my litter doesn't give false positives. So I just did that... and ketones were negative. Not sure how reliable that method is, but it's better than nothing.
