Crazy cat with a crazy pancreas....what an OTJ drop here! Good thing DH is home today and give her a +9 snicky-snack...that should keep her from bouncing back up this evening.

All is in order with Trix....happy appy, bright eyes, snuggles, belly-roasting by the heating vent....anti-jinx upon anti-jinx. She was feeling feisty at gelcap time....fortunately I got it down the split second before her little paw came up to swat me away :cool:. I almost slept through her banana med time...I was snoozing on the couch and set the alarm on my phone, but apparently I turned it off rather than hitting "snooze". Fortunately DH got up and that woke me - I was only 15 minutes late. Phew.

Today is my parents' 56th anniversary!! Amazing. Of course my Dad is in the midst of his chemo crash so the celebration will be minimal, but they are jetting off to Hawaii in a week-ish, so celebrating is on the horizon.

What a fun and great trip for your parents! A much needed break I am sure.

It is always fascinating to see what Ms. Trix decides to do.....such a reminder that THEY are in control and not us (even though we are the ones who do all the reading on stuff and they don't even bother with ANY of that) :rolleyes:

Well, Ms. P, it's good to see you reported for duty again today. o_O Happy Anniversary to Mom and Dad! That definitely something to celebrate. :) Happy Caturday, Amy!

Nice report for Trixie! Well that was a substantial drop there for sure, but she does like to get your attention:).Happy Anniversary to your parents(I almost wrote annifursary.:facepalm::joyful:). Im sure that will be a much needed and welcomed break for them..woo hoo Hawaii no less:woot:..:)

Yes, I think Ms. P is showing who is really in charge here! Nice to see she didn't take Saturday off!

Hooray for your parents. 56 is a big milestone, especially in this day and age. Mine were married 52 years when my DF passed. Please pass along our congratulations. Many vines and prayers that your DF's crash is short-lived so they can get to celebrating sooner.

Congrats to your parents on the anniversary. So many don't make it that far. My parents are just a couple years ahead of that. When they hit 60, they can get congratulations from the Queen of England. It's a big deal. Vines for you dad today so he can celebrate, even a little bit.
