Good morning all,

So I was in bed almost 50 minutes earlier than usual...and Shasta woke me up TWICE to make sure I didn't get too much sleep! :roll: When I got up this morning, I found the little present Miss Shasta left me...hairball. :roll: Goodness gracious! We had some storms roll through last night, so I imagine that is what kept waking her up...but still! I was so excited for the extra minutes of sleep.

She seems to be feeling well...bossy and demanding, in fact. The hairball tells me that she's preening just fine! LB is being used. As I tried to type last night, she kept crawling over me and snuggling with me and the computer...so I definitely got some purrs! And this morning, as she waited for me to fix her breffis, she played with her 'Shasta proof-locks'...play! All Ps are in working order!

Thank you Sienne & Marje for checking in on us last night. I'm not sure if it could be fleas. Well, let's just say, I've never seen fleas, but she does scratch like she has evil fleas...so maybe it is skin issues. I just don't know. Sure wish she knew charades!

Ok, I'm highly unmotivated to get going today, which means I'm running late...so it's time for me to get a move on. Blessings to all you good people and your sweet kitties!

Morning Deborah. I think these cats have radar designed to limit bean sleep! I'm sorry Shasta has a skin thing... I hope you can get to the bottom of it and it's an easy fix. It's good to hear Shasta is doing well, being playful and happy. Good luck figuring out about skin issue. When I forget to give my cats their flea meds, they scratch a lot and get twitchy, but I never see the fleas. I hope it's nothing serious.

Sounds like Shasta is feeling good. Nasty hairballs, but they are a necessary evil I guess. So sweet of Shasta to keep checking in on you. What a good girl. :lol: Have a great day Deborah!

Hi guys .. overall a very good report for miss shasta .. well, other then waking you up twice .. and of course, the hairball .. :? but it is nice to hear she is playing and purring for sure! Have a great day guys!
 
Aww, what a nice Shasta report! Sorry about the hairball...I keep telling myself if I'd use the Furminator more often, Hershey wouldn't have so many hairballs. But, when I use it, the hair stirring around bothers my allergies. ugh -

I hope you get the scratching figured out soon!

Usual nice nighttime numbers. Maybe if she won't play charades, you could get her to play pictionary :lol: :lol: hope it's not fleas :shock:

Glad you got some extra sleep but ick on the hairball. Hate it when that happens.
