Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is bouncing from his vetty visit yesterday but otherwise is good. He ate all his nighttime food (perhaps quite close to AMPS). We had a good night. He couldn't wait to get into the bed and snuggle between his beans. Today the boys will be home alone all morning and part of the afternoon. I have to go to Plattsburgh for a diagnostic (routine for me, not to worry--anti-jinx). After I get home I have to take Edward to his chiropractor. So Rusty will have a nice, peaceful day to bring his bgs back down. This is day 64 on this cartridge of Lev. and it is almost empty, so I think I will start a new one this evening--tomorrow morning for sure.

The wind is howling. The temperature has dropped from 49 degrees to 32 and it is snowing. We expect up to 60 mph gusts today. Great day for a drive to Plattsburgh (about 45 miles)! If I have time I'll stop at the petfood store.

I am sorry that I missed you yesterday. another one where the day got away from me, and I crashed on the sofa last night, not to even visit the board... I hope Rusty had a good vetty visit - sounds like he did. One always worries with weight loss. Know I sure did with Mannie and his bout with P'titis this past month. Nice that the HCT (that's the one, yes?) is back to where it was before. YAY! Interesting too on the breathing. Maybe just the way he is? I hope the rest of the labs come back ok.

:shock: on your weather! and a 45 minute drive for your appt? Drive safely, though I am sure you are used to conditions like that. I hope your appt goes well.

Rusty - dude! The lagoon needs you. So back down you go. Surf well for your bean.

Hi guys ... I bet with the temps dropping and the wind holwing rusty is going to put his little bed by the radiator to good use today! Be careful out there on the roads with that strong wind .. we have some here and I can feel our house moving nailbite_smile Have a great day!

ood Morning Ella, I know Rusty and Mags are alike with the nighttime eating, so I bet he comes down nicely. Glad Rusty had a good Vetty visit yesterday. He will have some fun at the beach today.
Good luck with your diagnostic test today and be safe on the drive.

Did I miss you yesterday? My Computee was misbehaving last night--Hope vetty finds all is well with Rusty!
We had the winds, and rain, but you got the snow!! Please be careful going to dr..& chiro..

Hi Ella. Glad that Rusty's overall Vet report was good especially that his HCT is normal. I hope the vet can diagnose the cause of his weight loss and get that turned around.

Have a safe trip to Plattsburgh and stay warm. Have a great day.

Hi again,

I'm back home. Horrible road conditions, but I made it. Rusty didn't eat much breakfast and Edward said that he ate a little lunch and then vomited a small vomit. I think he is still just worn out from his vetty visit. We just had a nice combing and I put a little food in his dish, so we'll see. Just got home 1/2 hour ago and now have to go back out to take Edward to the chiropractor. This is a doctor week! Good thing the weather is so rotten!!

Not bad numbers, but Tess missed Rusty in the Lagoon yesterday! I hope they are both back there soon. I'm glad you made the trip w/ no problems this morning.

Good news on the labs and I hope they come up w/ an answer on his weight loss. You are so great at catching these things.

Snow? does that mean more skiing? :-D :-D :-D

Rusty! I went to the Lagoon to help w/ KTSS but you weren't there! I comes again today to make sure you is all right! -- Tess

Hi again,

Thanks for visiting. Rusty is fine and back in the lagoon. He ate well at dinner and is now meowing for attention. But he won't come upstairs!! (Actually, he wanted more food, so he got it!)

The drive to Edward's chiropractor was weird: one moment we were in sunshine, the next in a white-out blizzard. The wind was so strong it was hard to stand up in it! I hope we haven't lost any trees in our back woods.

Off to visit some condos, but my eyes are so tired from squinting through the snow and blowing snow on the road today that I don't know how many I will get to. It's hard to focus on the screen right now! But I will visit tomorrow for sure.

Hi Ella......What a beautiful way to end the day. Hope Rusty surfs in safe numbers for you tonight. I love how he snuggles with you at night. Mine isn't a snuggler.

I'm glad you made it safely to Plattsburgh and back. We had the same weather. I went out to care for the birds, and wouldn't even think of driving in that. You're a brave lady. :-D

And thank goodness you made it safely back, that sounds like quite the wild weather you are having.

Ella - you are my hero! All that driving in the cold, gusty snow?! Girl! In NC, we'd be hunkered down in our houses!! :o I hope all went well with your appointments and you were able to get to the petfood store, too. :-D
