Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He ate all of his nighttime food (probably close to dawn). He had a good test, shot, breakfast (1st sitting eaten, the rest reserved for later), lung treat, and is now napping in his little bed by the radiator. Maybe he'll want his schmooze later.

Our weather has become much milder and by tomorrow afternoon it may rain!!! That is awful for Winter Carnival! We are thinking SNOW!!!
Edward and I may go over to the VIC this afternoon to snowshoe (if there is enough snow). Winter Carnival officially starts today and we are eager to see the inside of the ice palace. The theme is "Celtic" and already there is a beautiful horse, made of ice, outside the palace. I hear that there is a 20-foot dragon inside. Tonight our "film club" is viewing a non-mountain film: "The Man who Never Was", a World War II espionage film from the mid 50s. Next week we get back to the 1930s mountain movies.

Yo Kitties: Everyone out for curling practice today. The LL Sliders Curling Club is getting serious about the upcoming CatOlympics. I'm captaining the Blue Team this morning. After practice we'll tour the ice palace and have refreshments at my house. See ya later.

Nice blue start for Rusty! I'm glad he kept his beans safe during the night. Snow would be much better than rain for the Winter Carnival. Sounds like so much fun. Have a great weekend Ella!

Nice start for Rusty. I hope that means he'll be in the lagoon later. I hope the milder weather doesn't cause a problem with the ice sculptures.

Hi again,
Rusty has moved on to the Yellow Team. I guess we're in the midst of a bounce. The beans didn't get their act together and so are just going to walk in the village. Maybe a snowshoe tomorrow or Sunday, depending on whether we get any snow and don't get rain.

The ice sculptures sound just beautiful. I hope the weather doesn't shorten their life.

How nice of Rusty to give you a permission slip to go out and see the festivities. Sending positive thoughts for snow or at least cool dry weather for the festival. I won't sent you any of our snow, our mountains barely have enough as is.

Rusty, never fear, so far today I have the red and pink team covered over here :o . You look like you're wanting to give your beans some time away from the house. Don't go too crazy.
Ella, the ice sculptures sound just lovely, any chance of getting some photos to show us? I know I would love to see them. THINK SNOW, SNOW SNOW!!

Rusty is back on the Blue Team this afternoon. The interior of the ice palace is neat. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

A spike (?) and a slide for Rusty today. He's in his bed by the radiator waiting for the guests to arrive for "film night". He loves to greet guests.

46 is the lowest Rusty has had on this dose. He had a good night being the perfect host at our "film night". Tomorrow is a full day--the first full day of Winter Carnival. We intend to go to the bake sale, the ladies' frying pan toss, the woodsmen's demonstration, and the curling demonstration. Will post some photos of the ice palace tomorrow. Sorry I didn't get to very many condos today. Wishing everyone a good night.

Rusty not only wanted to be on the green team, he wanted to BE the green team :lol:

The Winter palace sounds cool....I've been in some before and they are amazing, I hope you all get to snowshoe tomorrow.
