Yesterday was a yellow then bounce to pink, recover down to blue for the day and what I originally thought was a flat blue evening. This morning's bounce says something else might have happened last night. :YMSIGH:
1/30 Recap:
AMPS 272 +4 325 +8.5 132
PMPS 149 +4 196 +5 190
Sorry for the late posting, but I've been trying to get a some things done around here before diving into the time warp that LL can be. And then I got the actual results for Neko's B/W and C&S (came back negative) so have been researching those. The highlights are:
- albumin, still high but not as high. I have since read that raw food diets can make this higher, in addition to dehydration that FD cats can have.
- neutrophils/lymphocytes are higher, but vet just thought it was stress. They aren't significantly high, but were normal in normal range last time.
- T4, although in normal range, it went from 19.1 to 24.9 (reference range is 10-80). Vet is concerned about the jump up, even though it was 22.7 six months ago. We'll keep monitoring, but I planned to go back for another test in 3 months anyway.
- Lipase and cholesterol are still a bit high, not a enough for a concern for the vet.
Two numbers that were out of range last time are now in range, Calc Osmolality and Glucose.
Glucose in urine still detected, but lower. My favourite quote in the B/W "Glucose looks very good".
I also talked to the vet about taking Neko in for an echocardiagram, ECG, and consult. I'm going to go ahead with those for piece of mind.
Neko of course is ignoring all my worry on her behalf. After that lovely start she went into bounce mode. She was really "starving" in the kitchen at +6.5, otherwise I wouldn't have tested her then. No reason for the noise, except maybe the smell of DH's homemade soda bread baking in the oven. She's had a couple of trips outside, in spite of the rain, a good cuddle on DH's lap, a bit of nanner play, and a good face plant into the potted catnip plant.
