Good Morning LL! Muffin gave me a permission slip yesterday to go to lunch with my friend for my birthday. Last night, however, she really got down to business. I was debating whether or not to take the reduction this morning, as she came up quite quickly and easily last night, and she is a long term diabetic. She did drop below 50 on the 27th, and I did not reduce then as I believe it to be due to lack of fuds. So I decided to take it this time, and shot 1 drop. Muffin was playing with her chirpy feather bird this morning while she waited for shot time and I cooked the DGD's breffis.

Cleetus is going to the vet this morning to check for a UTI. I see him in the LB 3-4 times a day the last few days, and I rarely see any of the others actually in the box. Taking the girls to school today, so gotta run.

132 @ +2.5. That was right before leaving for the vetty with Cleetus. He's going for a UTI check, and his appt was at 10:10. So, of course, at 9:55 he gets in the LB and pees. ohmygod_smile So now he has to stay at the vet's til they can get a sample. I thought about stopping him, but was afraid he'd pee in the carrier on the way, and that would be a mess. As often as he's using the LB, it shouldn't take long for him to have to go again. Poor baby, I hate leaving them.

Sending good vetty vines for Cleetus! Poor thing having to stay at the vet. I hope you caught it early before he was too uncomfortable.

Congratulations on the reduction! You will be OTJ again in no time! Sorry I missed your B-day yesterday, things are too crazy around here.

+5.5 88 :mrgreen: Muffin is happily snoozing by her heater, as usual. It really makes for easy pokies - ear bleeds so well! :lol: Haven't heard from the vet yet, poor Cleetus is still there. Think I'll call and see what's going on.

Oh my gosh what a day! Cleetus was finally ready to picked up around 4pm. I had made an appt for Shnookie tomorrow morning, because his appy is off :o :shock: and he was pretty lethargic today. One thing that Shnookie has never had is appy issues - he usually wolfs down as much food as he can get no matter what else is going on. He slept on my desk all day, so I moved up his appt for this evening. He seems to have some sort of intestinal inflammation/infection, his anal glands were full, and we're running a senior panel (minus the urine) with a specfPL. His bladder was very full, so Dr wants him kept in my room so we can make sure he's able to urinate. He's on Metronidazole and Cleetus got an antibiotic injection today and is to start Clavimox tomorrow, even tho we don't have a result yet. And now Muffin does this! ohmygod_smile +12.5 still at 60. Poor girl thinks I forgot her dinner. :cry:

I think you could have shot the +12 just find...you are experienced ;-)

What a day you had....if its not something with one, its something with another.

Hi Anne WOW - what a day for you. Wise choice I think on the stall, especially with the slight dip to 58. Nice to see the two ringing numbers before you did. It is so great to see Muffin doing so well.

Sorry for being so MIA of late. What with DGS and Mannie it just eats up so much time. Hope all will be well there - take care to all your kitties!

Marje - I agree, I could have shot the +12. The double dipping kinda threw me - she doesn't usually do that - and I don't fully trust that she's back to her old self. She's just been full of surprises this time on the juice! :lol:

Michelle - No worries - I'm MIA quite a bit these days, too. I just wanted to be sure Muffin was on the rise, as I thought she was after +7.5, but she pulled the late cycle second drop on me.

Wendy - I think you're right - she just wanted to remind me who was #1 in needing care and attention (in her opinion)! :lol: This gang of mine is definitely a full time job. :roll:
