HEALTH AND DOSE INFO: Yesterday Was.... pink day in MannieLand. It was a good day, despite the pink... at least it was consistent, steady and more or less flat. At least he didn't bounce to the extremes after his dip into the blues the day before. Slowly he is improving... Appy was good yesterday. LB was normal. I was unable to get a ketone test yesterday,as I missed everyone of his visits to the LB. He had an appt at the vets last night to get his next in a series of cabalmin injections. The good news is that he has gained 2 oz, out of the 1.5 pounds he has lost since he has been sick. That was great news! Activities have been fairly normal, he seems to be getting stronger each day too. He is up and about, doing normal Mannie things, getting better. He's alert, preening, visiting favorite haunts. All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Yesterday was another in a series of very wet cold drizzly rainy day here... Chill to the bone day with all that rain. I am sure Mannie felt it too. He spent most of the day curled up in his bed, with a few visits to care for the nanner stash, and to see what Nicholas was doing. He'd peek around the corner, look, and then back to bed. :lol: :lol: Those two exchanged greetings, as they always do. Even when Mannie was sick he still checked on his boy. I'd made a chicken Ceaser salad for dinner last night. I swear Mannie must have a chicken alert sensor bilt in somewhere. The minute that chicken hit the lettuce he was all over me, wanting his fair share... ShessH! I think he got more chicken than I did, :lol: :lol: :lol: I suppose I overindulged him, but it was just nice to see him want it. :-D Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. Appy was good: he ate well. CPC!!!!! :cool: 97% Close to normalcy in MannieLand, still working on that last 3%.... :-D :cool: I'd love to say 100%, but there are few things I am waiting on before I can safely say... 100%!

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty for the remainder of the week. It will hopefully be a travel day for Nicholas - I hope we can get out for a bit. Yesterday he said he misses the creeks. wow, I couldn't believe he actually said that. So... we hope for a weather break so we can actually go and do that. Paws crossed. I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue think green kitties!

Hey Everybody! What's up??? How about a beach and bon fire day? We could grill some of them sausages we brought back from Leavenworth, and maybe hmmmmmmm...... build sand castles. I've always wanted to do that - sand castles! with moats and everything! I found this really cool ting too in the shop yesterday - a boogie board. I so wanna try that in the surf ad stuff. What'd'ya think? You guys in? let me know - I am ready for anything!~~ Mannie

And completely OT: I had hoped to add some photos from DGS's and my adventure yesterday at the pool, but the upload here is saying they are too big, even though it's the same size I have always used... so... working on that. Nice sunny start for Mannie today. Great news on the weight. The way he is eating, it won't take long. :-D It took T a couple of months. Sounds like Mannie has no food issues anymore. That is definitely a big help and of course he deserves the chicken from your salad. :lol: Have a wonderful day with Nicholas!

Hey Mannie! The beach sounds awesome. We need to find out who has one that is still warm though. Grilling those sausages is a great idea too. Maybe we can catch some fishies and throw on there too. Pick me up k? Wheelies are a go. - Tarragon

Hey good news with the weight gain at Vetty visit. Nice to hear normalcy in MannieLand and getting stronger and better. Wow with the chicken caesar salad, too. He sure deserves a treat. I hope today is better for a river adventure for you and DGS,

Great news on the weight gain! Of course you couldn't refuse him when he wanted chicken, next time you'll just have to make up a plate for him too! :lol: :lol:

There is a note from Rebecca at the top of the board. She has had to reduce file sizes because the board is running so slow. If you upload them to facebook just use the link, then they won't take up space on the board but will show up in the post. We are also now limited to 250 stored PMs. New messages won't come in until we clean some out. I spent over an hour last night getting rid of old messages! :? :roll: Cleaning out old uploads will help too.

Mannie, thanks for the triple shot cappuccinos this morning, I needed them as usual and they were delish!
Mannie, we gots sun, but Maggie's beach sounds warmer (and no pesky white moocher hanging around! cat(2)_steam )! There's frost out there! Sand castles sound like soooooo much fun! I gots lots of shovels and pails! -- Tess

Nicholas and I have just come back from a trip to the Science Center here in Seattle. The weather never really did improve, plus the winds picked up, so..... darn cold out there. So - science center is was. he had a blast - butterfly house, fishies, dinosaurs, planets and outdoor water fun. what more could a 2yr old boy want... AND - came hoe to find that the vet had called once again to check n Mannie. How cool is that. :-D I will post photos in Mannie's condo - if I can get them to upload. no luck at all this morning. Now all of a sudden the same size I have been uploading forever is too big??? shesshhhh!

Hi Michelle & Mannie, Hi, not HI please!!

It was a really nice daytime cycle, so Mannie just had to be Mannie and hit the trampoline. It is so encouraging that he gained 2 ounces and is eating much better and doing his old routines. He and Rusty can both concentrate on their weight! (In Rusty's case I don't want him to gain, I just want him not to lose any more.)

Sounds like you and Nicholas had a splendid day. It's too bad that we have to restrict the size of our photos. I'll have to figure out how to do this, too. Last night I spent at least an hour deleting old P.M.s to get under the new limit of 250. I was wondering what might be the consequences if someone didn't see the new Sticky and really needed to get in touch with someone (and that person was over-limit and didn't receive the message). Oh well, as long as everyone is aware of the new rules we can deal with them, I guess!

Oh my goodness, Michelle. I haven't been on the board much today, so didn't see Mannie's numbers. What a gorgeous day he had. Yeah tonight's pm 'number' stinks, but you know he can come down......woopee!
I am so happy that he's eating his much loved chicken again. What a nice condo today. :-D

A beautiful day followed by the darkest of nights! A trampoline jump like that has got to feel strange. Poor guy. Nice to hear his appy is picking up and becoming a CPC regular again. Hopefully he'll get more days like today so he'll have less nights like tonight.

Hi Ella yupp, he just had to find that trampoline... :roll: well, he will come down too. I am very ahppy with this weight gain, so hope i continues for a bit more. Nicholas ad I did have a great one. I think so on the photos - guess I will have to try and make them even smaller. The camera i set for the smallest setting it has... oh well. best check my PM's total too! I too would worry about someone (like me) who didn't see that sticky... I am grateful you guys told me.

Hi Barb - THX on today - the morning was wodnerful! The evening is Mannie being Mannie... aiyee!!! THX on the condo - he really is getting better, everyday these is something - a nuance, a head tilt, whatever that tells me things are on the upswing. Last night it was that chicken. YAY!

Goodness Mannie! It was only blue...almost green but not quite. Still......

Glad to hear he is doing so much better clinically and has gained some weight. Wonderful :-D
