These boys need to go swimming.Wendy&Tiggy said:Tiggy is copying Gobbles today. Stinky pinky morning.
no, why?Carl & Bob said:At the end of yesterday's condo you said you had to do errands today? Has that already happened?

I'm leaving in 10 minutes and will be gone 1.5 hours or less. Should I give him a little of the 16% FF before I leave? If so, about how much? All in all, I will be gone approximately from +3.5 to +5.5, I think...not sure...(leaving at about 11.45 and back by 1:15...gave shot at 9:15.... ??? Can Bob figure that out for meCarl & Bob said:Just trying to figure out the timing of when you'll be out and his cycle. When it makes sense to test or feed, etc.

Carl & Bob said:Test him now. I don't think the higher carbs are needed, but maybe a spoon of low carb, depending on the number.
Carl
thank you--you're awesome--and always there when we need you :YMHUG:Carl & Bob said:Okay, looks like he's good, Kat.
Now, go run your errands, and please be careful on the snowy roads. Don't worry or stress about Gobbles. Just get a test when you return home.
Carl
haha_smiley Poor Tig! We have an inground pool as well (deck goes from house to pool) and I can see Gob sneaking out onto the deck and doing the same thing....IF...he was allowed out--he's one of those really inteliigent people who are dumb and therefore not allowed out--has no street smarts!Wendy&Tiggy said:Tiggy did that once. We have an inground pool. It was covered but you get like a foot of water on top of the cover. The water freezes. It was spring and the water had frozen but still was maybe 50.
It was a sunny day and I was out doing some gardening and Tiggy was rolling on the deck sprawled out and he rolled straight into the pool.. splash! He immediately started the dog paddle and keeping his head up with this very unusual intense look of concentration, turned round and paddled back. He scrabbled up the cover and got out while Phil and I were running around trying to get the net to grab him with.
Lasted less than 30 seconds but he was cold and wet and ran into the house.
We laughed our asses off once we realized he was ok. Interesting that he swam immediately.. having never seen another animal do it and having never been in water before. But the look on his face was priceless!
Thanks for sure!Carl & Bob said:Hi Kat,
The pinks are nicer than the red or black for sure. It looks like Gobbles is still bouncing off the greens a couple of days ago.
Carl
Oh--I didn't know that--awesome--I'll do a test in a few hours to see where he's at....Carl & Bob said:A +2 or +3 that is much lower than the AMPS might tell you a bounce is clearing...
Carl
Actually, I don't know if I should move it up now - he was 189 at +11 -- so it looks like he's been falling all day--can you take another peek? what the heck? is that good or bad or whatever?Carl & Bob said:Hi Kat,
I was just checking out Gobble's SS, and it looks like his numbers have come down nicely, not too fast, but slow and sure all day.
I saw the note that said you were going to move his shot time up tonight? Just wanted to suggest that you take a reading 1/2 hour prior to PMPS so you can see if he's rising at shot time. Not a huge deal if he isn't, but it would be worth knowing.
