I was feeling depressed about Checkers numbers lately so I thought that maybe I need to get some new insulin since the vial I have been using was opened in August. It should still be okay but who knows.

So in started the new pen this evening and he had quite a drop at +2. Could just be a coincidence. I fed him some more lc and a bit of mc to slow him down a bit.

I don't think it's the insulin. He did see greens and even low blues a couple of day back.

Looks like he is headed lower tonight. Think you can get a +6? Or a test later in the cycle? I won't be surprised to see green.
