Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is high again (for him) this morning (but not as high as yesterday). No fur shots yesterday, so I guess it's just Rusty. Anyway, he had a good night, ate all his nighttime food, ate a good breakfast, contributed to the lb, and we played with Big Bug and Red Ears. He's now sitting on the radiator, soaking up the heat!

Today is the day we will make the pizza!! Got home too late from snowshoeing yesterday and were too tired to begin pizza preparations. So I'll report tonight on how it went and whether or not it was any good.

Hey kitties: I feel like another day on a tropical island. What do you all think? Mannie could put the roadster on a ferry and we'll all cruise to the sunshine.

Sometimes it's hard to say why they are higher at times, but it is still a very nice blue for Rusty. Making pizza sounds so nice on a Sunday. Enjoy the day.

Looks like life is good, eh Rusty? Good fuds, good play, good heat. Not too bad of am amps either, bet he goes green later today.

Glad the snowshoeing was fun yesterday. NICE! I hope the pizza making goes well today - I can't wait to hear how it turns out.

Hey Rusty! SWEET!, and I was thinking the same thing. A ferry??? COOL - I can do that. HeeHeeHee it will be fun to see what all those ferry-riders think of a roadster filled with traveling kitties. I had such fun at the tropical island - I gots sand everywhere, but that's ok. See you soon - sunshine and warm and grllin' sounds mighty good. ~~ Mannie

Morning!! Ok Rusty can still drop to his nice normal, but No Pizza for him..I use whole wheat pizza dough & just cook it for a few minutes, before putting topping on..Or it gets gooshy! :lol: :lol: :lol: --Love these day oriented food creations!!--We do it too--guess it's a winter thing :lol:
You guys doing the ole snowshoeing today? I can hardly walk, much less snow shoe!

Hi Libby, Maybe a dosecrease. I've been thinking about fattening it to a fat 0.5. Let's see where we go for the rest of the cycle. He's still coming down at +9.

I'm assuming this will be homemade pizza dough, made by the expert bread maker. Ohhhhh i can smell it now. :-D
Every day, I smile at Rusty playing and wonder what Red Ears is. It doesn' t Google as a cat toy. :lol:

hah! I wondered exactly what Red Ears is, too!

Good luck with the pizza. It's spaghetti and veal meatballs here today. :-D Good luck with the dosecrease, if needed, as well. We're having one here right now. Keeping our paws crossed...

I am glad to read that Rusty continues to do so well. He seems to be such a happy cat and I'm sure you and Edward have made his life even happier. I hope He continues to come down and that you get a great pmps. And I can't wait to hear the pizza report. Sounds yummy!

Hi Everyone,
The pizza was a disappointment, one could say a flop! There are reasons why one should only get pizza in a NYC pizza joint!!

Red Ears is my name for a mouse that Stu had and that is now Rusty's. It is a wooly mouse's head with 2 large red ears and a red tail. No mouse body, just the head. It has a loop on top for attachment of a string, and that's what we've done. It used to hang over a chair and Stu played with it occasionally. Now it gets lots of play time. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow.

Back later, have to watch Masterpiece Theater!

bummer on the pizza! well you will just have to try again... We used to use a pizza stone, loved it, but it did take a little practice.

nice pmps for Rusty - seems he is getting back to normal.

Darn, I was thinking about that pizza all day, and waiting to hear all about it. :-D Sorry it flopped, Ella.
Did you save all the toppings and make lasagna out of it? :lol:

So now I know why I couldn't Google Red Ears. :-D
 
We ate some of the pizza. Tomorrow I'll heat up the rest in a little olive oil in the skillet. That always improves bad pizza. The problem was, as always, the crust. We've never been able to get it right: it was too crispy; didn't have that lovely pliable, chewy, foldable crust that a good NYC pizza has. The new pizza stone was fine. It was just that the recipes failed us (Edward consulted about 10 crust recipes, all of which were basically the same!).
Good +4 for Rusty tonight. He tried to hack up a hairball, without success. Maybe tonight!!!!!
