yesterday.... pink and yellow.... After finding the low blues and upper greens the night before, Mannie's liver decided he needed some attention too, so we sent the day on the "other floors".... Paws crossed that Mannie can find the blues again today. Right Mannie? It is so much more fun on the blue floor! and the green - well all there all cool stuff happens on the green floor. What'd'ya think? Work for you? Lubs ya big guy - Think blue, think green, OK? cat_pet_icon So far this morning.... so good!

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Our weather has been a bit unreal... Yesterday we had such strong winds - everything was blowing everywhere, including Mannie. :shock: :shock: If it wasn't so funny I'd been seriously worried bout the boy. He wanted out so bad,.... I mean after all, there were a few patches of sun! there were rays to be had! So he'd sit out there, on the deck, face into the winds, trying to remain seated. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: The wind had his whiskers pushed way back, his ears were pushed way back, his eyes were such tiny little squints, and his fur was well.... blowing everywhere. He remained steadfast, and got his few rays. O.M.G. :shock: :? :roll: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am off once again to the auto shop - this time to have the windshield replaced. All the freezing rains and snow and ice took its toll... I have a crack that runs from one end to the other, so.... gotta get it replaced before the wonderful folks in uniform give me a ticket. :shock: :roll:

Morning Michelle ~O) and what a nice blue for Mannie today. Really sweet video of Nicholas and so nice of you to post here, as I don't get over to FB. I have an account and read what's going on with my nieces but haven't gotten in full speed yet. I'm still learning my digital camera. :lol: Then next FB! Nicholas is having so much fun exploring, and I see what you mean by holding his pants to prevent him from exploring even further in the water. Just wait til summer as I think we have a quick learner with olympic swimming. Have a wonderful day, and I bet Mannie flashes some greens, too!

Mannie, great with NYC, Rusty and ice skating. I was sick yesterday but am more than ready to make up for it today. Bring on the hot dogs. I'll be at the curb, Maggie

Nice blue start Mannie! Mr Liver seems to have calmed back down again. Funny on the wind. I can just see it. It has been super windy here too, but that is normal for us.

Good luck at the auto shop. Windshields are always a good thing to get fixed. Those blue uniform guys don't like it when they are cracked.

Love love love the video. When I got to Norman this weekend, Mason asked if there were any new videos of Nicholas. Mason has such a soft spot for little boys and loves to see the videos so we sat and watched a few of the most recent on my iphone. Such a sweet boy. He does enjoy spending time outside.

Nicholas is a fearless explorer! You can just see him thninking when he was looking at whatever was on his glove.

Nice AMPS for the big fella today ;-) I can just picture him outside with the wind blowing in his fur, must have been funny to see.

I'm at work and can't see the vid, will have to watch later when i get home.

Don't you just love windshield cracks :roll: :roll: They are so pricy to replace, i finally bought some windshield insurance and of course nothing has happened, but i'm sure the second i let the insurance go i'll get a nice big long crack or a rock chip :roll:

Mannie, what do you say we go to central park and tease all the dogs there?!?! Leo

Hi Ann - yep, the blue was great - no clue what is up with that +2. :shock: I am glad you enjoyed the video. I know there are some folks that don't do FB. And yes - he really does love to explore, just check things out. and omg on the water - it is a given that I have to grab a hold, or in he goes. in the summer when it is warm it won't be such an "issue", but now with the temps on the 30's, one has to grab hold. :lol: :lol:

He watches the videos? WOW, I am taken back, but so very cool! I am so glad that people enjoy them. It's difficult to come up with new things to record, but it is fun to see him try something new with the same subject latter. I just love "fishing " him out of the river.... and yes - Nicholas loves the outdoors - even in rotten weather... it's so nice to see.

Hi Tracy - the wind thing was such a good laugh - apparently good sniffs for him too. The nose was really twitching. :lol: yeah, hear you on the windshield... Couldn't believe it when I found the crack - guess it didn't like the freezes and the snow and the warming up, so it cracked. oh well.... gotta get it repaired whether I want to or not. It is illegal here in WA state to drive with a crack that runs the full length of the window... :YMSIGH:

Hi Devon - I know on the glove - it cracks me up when he does that. I can't remember what was on his glove - leaf, small twig piece, maybe even just sand - but it is so funny when he tries to clean it with the stuff that made it dirty in the first place. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks for posting the video of Nicholas in action. He sure isn't afraid of a little cold water! I love how he inspects the dirt. At first, I thought he had no shoes on but then realized he was wearing tan colored shoes. I really didn't think you would let him out without shoes, although, since he is a little nature boy, he would probably like no shoes!

Come on down some Mannie! Did the wind cause your bg to go up? :-D

Hi Georgia - Ah no - no fear of cold water for Nicholas - he just loves it. :-D Yes, the dirt inspection is a new thing - before he used to eat it all, now it gets the once over. :lol: :lol: One can just see those mental wheels turning... oh - yes on the shoes! LOL: he has little hiking boots. In all reality he would go barefoot everywhere if I let him. The first thing he does when he comes inside is to take off the shoes, AND the socks. Barefoot rules the roost! -- LOL on the winds and the BG - hay be, huh!

Hi Roni - thx, he really is one happy little guy. He has his moments, but that's all OK. and I so agree on Mannie.... so totally dressed in the wrong color for the big city. :shock: :lol:

Hi Ann - I WISH I KNEW!!! I really think he went low over night, and all this is a reaction to that. We don't normally get pinks unless we are coming off of greens and bouncing. well, so I am justifying this pink streak as.... :roll: :lol: Thx on the video - and yes he was. A few months ago that is exactly what he would have done - now he thinks twice.

I agree, Nicholas is a nature boy! The cold winter water doesn't phase him!! And he really gets around!! Great video!

Yo Mannie, what a great time we had on the skating rink. Those tourists watching from above the rink were amazed that there were so many kitties gliding around with such great skill! Let's continue the adventure tomorrow.

Hi Michelle!! I think Mannie and Champ went out partying last night. Champ's numbers are even worse than Mannie's!!! I, too, think Champ must have gotten low last night when I wasn't watching. The little buggers!!!

Watching a video of Nicholas is the highlight of my day!! Seeing the world through his eyes makes me realize how awesome it truly is!! Who knew dirt was so fascinating? Especially if you cake it into your mittens really, really thick!! :lol: :lol: And he is fearless. I was so surprised that he didn't make any sound at all when he charged right into what had to be freezing water. It would have taken my breath away!! And I love it that you let him get dirty and wet, knowing that children aren't fragile unless we make them that way!! I do pity his mom and how much laundry she must have to do!!

Hi Patty - Thx and the vids, and I do believe you are right. He is so taken back by the simplest things, that it really does make one realize how awesome if all can be. Yeah - the mittens routine is too funny: the dirtier and sandier the better, same with the jeans. Yes, that water is COLD! frigid comes to mind. :o and yes I let him do just about anything as long as I can be sure he will be safe. Exploring like this is so great for them. You are right - children are not fragile unless we make them that way. LOL on the laundry - that would be a yes. :lol: :lol: -- I bet the boys were out last night - post party high BG's!

Hi Ella - That he is - and nope, the cold water does not phase him, most of the time. Mountain river = frigid water temps. But I alwyas have dry clothes etc, so he doesn't stay wet too long, especially when it is so cold outside. and yes - he is a mover! I have this feeling that he will skip walking altogether and go straight to running. :lol: :lol:
