I gotta start working, cuz Binks has made his list, and made me check it twice!

And now I'm really excited because rumor has it that Bond may do a concert here!

I HOPE it's true...these gals are FABULOUS musicians (don't let their looks & scanty outfits fool you)-
I love the fact that they are introducing crossover classical music to an audience that would normally not be interested.
AND the venue they are supposed to be playing is one that i can take Tam to!!!
She's been dying to see them ever since i got her their CDs...
I've seen them live once, and it was spectacular :-D

If you haven't heard them...you're missing out on some true talent...

I could definitely use one of those with Leroy :lol: The Get Off Shelf button for when Leroy gets on top of the kitchen cabinets, the Off button when he gets a little too PITA. I'd need an extra button added - a Pause ADD button so that Leroy will eat all his food without wandering away after one bite :razz:

love the video Celi I had never heard of those girls but love that kind of music of course I love almost all kinds really love riverdance, bluegrass, powwow you name it other then hip hop not too big on that I am afraid....

I got their first promo when I ran the entertainment store...and have loved everything they've done since
If you get a chance, watch the one they did with Andre Rieu...

Celi, thanks for the video. My DH would love this music. He plays the violin and would go crazy over the music and the girls, of course. I also love this type of music. Thanks!

They got a lot of flak when they first started, due to their looks and how they were presented.
But that was the whole point of the quartet...gorgeous girls with talent to actually reach a segment of the public
who were missing out on classical music.

Same type of thing Malcolm McLaren & The Bootzilla Orchestra tried to do with Waltz, Darling and Fans-
famous waltzes & opera music combined with a dance beat...
but Malcolm wasn't quite as visually stimulating :lol:

hahaha that's a very cool remote! loved the names of the toys on that site as much as anything - humunga stache? humunga tongue? pretty cute.

i listened to the videos too - especially loved the Bond one - i think i've seen them before. those instruments are like skeletal versions of the "real" thing!

see, that baffles me...
I realize they are electric, or some kind of wireless frequency thing...
but how do they get the beautiful classic sound...
especially with the cello??

I would love one of those cat remote controls but either (a) Tobey would try to use it with Gracie or (b) Gracie would try to use it with us. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I tried catnip bubbles....it was ugly. They were scared to death of them :lol: :lol: :lol:

Love the Bond video. ppssssssst....I told Mike this was the most boorrriiinnggg condo today so not to look at it. That's the last thing I need is him checking out those hot chicks with fiddles.
