Re: 1/30 Elian 345 amps; 174 +3

Hi guys .. well looks like this new dose is working for him .. that blue at +3 looks nice! Have a great day guys!

Hi Susie,

YAY FOR GREEN!!!

Has he eaten since AMPS?

Carl

I fed him after the 63. I feed him after amps and pmps and one time during the day. He also gets a treat after each poke. I hope that's the proper times to feed!

That food schedule is just fine. I was just making sure you fed the 63. :-D

A +6 would be good to see if the food "took".

Carl

Don't be disappointed Susie but he is going to bounce. His body is not used to such low numbers and it's not ready to accept them yet. I just don't want to see you get upset when it happens. Bounces are not 'real'. They don't mean anything. But his body will throw some glucose out to compensate for what it 'thinks' it's missing after having so much of it lately. I don't know when this will happen but I'd almost bet it will be tonight. GOOD WORK though! At least we know that he isn't resistant and that you didn't get freaked out at seeing the 63 . That is HUGE!!!! ;-) I'm way interested in seeing where he goes now.....what his PMPS is

Good goin' E cat_pet_icon

141 +8. Thanks everybody - I'm not freaking out at all. Surprising, huh, Caryl?!!!! You have put me at ease. And have let me know that I need to be patient. Hopefully we're getting closer to him being under control - maybe this will be the correct dose for him. Fingers crossed. I just hate poking him all the time - and so does he - but we're doing what we have to do! Will check in again later tonight.

It MIGHT be, but I doubt it :) Glad you gave him some food at 63. that did more than keep him from going too low, it probably-hopefully kept him from bouncing too hard but he will bounce. Keep on doing what you're doing! You're both doing great!

btw..if he ever gets close to remission, you have to test more..not less :) But you'll want to! He'll stop hating it as he gets more used to it. So will you.... when you stop thinking he hates it....

Caryl - he allows me to do it, he has no choice....he lays right down between my legs on the floor and cooperates. But it's gotten to where any time he sees me now he turns and goes the other way! Usually out my slider door to the patio (double screened in). He's been spending more time outside than he EVER has! The upside - at least all of the running is giving him some exercise. :-D

In every cloud there is a silver lining..... :? um yes that's right!
