Breffis eaten. Napping now. What is scarier than a diabetic cat, sleeping with his eyes open. Oy!!

Anybody know if there's a way to work on Google SS, not online? I'd like to leave the page open and enter numbers throughout the day.
When I disconnect from the internet, it stays open, but can't enter.
When all numbers are entered, then I would like to connect again, and submit.
I'm sure I could have explained this better, but trying to keep it short.

Barb are you sure you are loggin in each time??That happened to me a few times--
Oh it's signing in on google.

Hi guys .. can't help with the google question myself, but I'll ask peter later tonight, maybe he knows? He is much better then me at this stuff! It looks like checks has a very nice afternoon surf going on .. hope it lasts for you! have a great day!

I've not been able to access Google unless I am signed in, which requires being online :sad:

Chex seems to be having a less :shock: :o :shock: :o type cycle today...
but oh, man....it would freak me out to see Binks sleeping with his eyes open!

You should have seen me panic the day he was sacked out on the floor with his tongue sticking out :lol:
and he didn't look NEARLY as cute as Mocha did in the picture Devon posted :-D

How's your weather? I'm reveling in our gorgeous sunshine & temp in the high 50's...

I checked with Google Docs...
and if you are offline...they are "View Only".
Doesn't allow setup or updating... :roll:

Thanks Celi. I didn't explain well, what I meant anyway. I know I have to be online to sign in, I just wanted to then click 'disconnect' (from the internet/phone line)....and still be able to enter numbers.
You are correct, then it is view only, when disconnected.

I'm frustrated at not having Google SS, because advisors need to see it, to be able to answer questions about a particular cat.
Again I say, I'm giving up on it. Of course, I say that every other day, and still I keep trying. :roll:

Celi is right, it's online only and you have to be signed in as well. I'd just make notes and enter them all at once when you get on. If you do it every day it should only take a minute.

Have you tried resetting your browser? Browsers cache "cookies" to make it quicker to return to sites, but sometimes something gets corrupted or the cache is just too full.

Tess's might be hard because I have several other tabs that could make it harder to load.

I have dumped cookies, emptied cache, defragged, many many times in the time I've been with fdmb. The problem is dialup. I have even more problems with Facebook.

My techie son has explained it to me, many times, but it still bugs me that I can't do certain things just because I connect with the phone line.
Yes, I could get sattelite, but because of my location, that is even more trouble.

I can't even look at someone's SS, then go right back to the forum; it won't let me.
I am on an old laptop right now, to see if it's any better than the desktop computer.

I hate to keep bringing it up, because I don't like using Rebecca's board to talk personal. I don't know what it's called....maybe bandwidth?

And you're not really having a personal conversation because you're trying to get help with your SS. I understand how frustrating it is. I have connection through my cable company and I just can't image going back to dial-up!! :o

Hi Barb - I have no other brilliant suggestions... :roll: short of that I keep hoping one of these days you will no longer be dial-up. How frustrating! I can't imagine going back to that. Well, I will continue to wish you luck. :-D I know for me that the excel/SS you have works well. ;-)

Looks like a good day for checkers - almost a rainbow kitty. Mannie may have to turn over his title to him. :-D
