Looks like Trix MAY be starting to work this dose a bit. We'll see...
Petey ate a decent breakfast this morning. I think the cerenia made him feel funky last night. Either that, or it was post-vetty stress (I know I had a boatload of that!)...he wasn't quite himself I'm just so emotionally exhausted with all that has been going on here. I wonder about his thyroid and kidneys, but I also do wonder if there's something about this latest food he's been eating. I think his two brothers/littermates also look a bit thinner and are being more finnicky/barfy. It's a huge problem, though...all three have the same sensitivities (can't digest chicken, grains, or fish), won't eat canned, won't eat the limited ingredient diets. I've found exactly TWO foods that fit the bill...Blue Basics Grain-Free Turkey (their current diet), and Wellness Core Grain-Free Turkey and Duck (their former diet). They were doing OK on the Wellness, but then my vet told me she's seen a dramatic increase of cats developing urinary crystals on Wellness. So, I tried a CA Natural food...that was an absolute litter box disaster. Then I found this Blue Basics. It is dramatically improved the litter box...but DH and I both think (but aren't positive) that it was after we started this food (back in October-ish) that the foamy barfy thing started increasing. It's hard to tell for sure, though...so many cats, so many health issues....
Anyway, because the blood draw was last evening, we probably won't have his results back until later tomorrow...
I'm sorry I've been borrowing Trix's condo so much for my civvies...but not many people understand how much my cats mean to my the way my LL peeps do.
Have a great day, everyone!
