Morning LL!! Woke to find 2 tiny poos in LB ..Moonie was straining all am for more poo but couldnt--She also threw up 3 x.So I called vet & he said give her lactulose 3 x day, and she may need an enema tonite--I left the appt open for 6:30 tonite..
Since then she has pooped better, and I syringe fed her some pepcid hoping to settle her tummy. She did eat a little bit of cat food..She was pacing around the house & doing some strange things this am--I OF COURSE, must go to work today--
I am leaving at 1 & DH will be home at 5, so at least she wont be alone that long..
Hope the pepcid will work...she was so upset that she couldnt poop...Glad I gave her the lactulose..
Hope she will be OK, but I think I will come home early. just in case--
See the minute I say she is doing well, something happens--Swear she reads these posts!

(((Roni))) sending mega vines, especially poo vines. I hope the extra dose of lactulose will loosen up what's in her and she won't need the enema. But if she does, good you have an appt. Lots of hugs and prayers.

Awww, so sorry Moonie isn't feel to well today. Hugs to her and you, Roni. Will send some poopie and feel better vines up to Moonie from Spot and I.

Moonie, I'm sorry you're not feeling well today. Please be good while your mama bean is at work. You know she worries about you so much!

You know this cat is going to Kill me right?? Right before I was leaving, she pooped and i was so happy but had to go to work, so I took her BG nailbite_smile nailbite_smile 49!!!!! EEEKKK! and she wasnt eating much..So I put out a bunch of food, I rubbed her gums with honey & syringed a TBS of HC into her mouth!!!!
No she didnt have to go to the vet, but I was worried all day--Came home & there she was on bed with DH, Basking in her DD's love ohmygod_smile
She had eaten almost a can of ff lc, and no more throwing up~~~
I Swear By Pepcid!!! It always settles her tummy.
So now she gets lactulose 3x a day again, and got to keep her plumbing moving!!

Just found her in DH's closet..I love when she playful, sure right after she practically gives me a stroke!!
Cat's gonna kill me!!
WE NEED SEDATIVE PANTS TO CALM US AFTER THESE CATS GET US CRAZY @-) @-) @-)

Omigosh Roni, you were posting as I was writing about hoping you don't have to take Moonie to the vet. :lol:

Wonderful that she pooped! Of course, she was overjoyed that her daddy was home loving on her. cat_pet_icon

Oh yeah, they can do a job on our minds, all right. :lol:
I'm so glad she is eating and feeling good, Roni. :-D

I swear these cats are conspiring on how to give us all heart attacks. :o :shock: on that 49 just before you had to leave for work. I'm glad she is feeling better and playful. I think you deserve a big piece of chocolate today.
 
So glad to see that Moonie is feeling better tonight! She had a really great day BG wise! hope that continues this evening her tummy stays happy and things keep "moving along' litterbox wise :-D

Now she ate, had her lactulose, gave her a drop or so off her dose, and her hyper T med..
SO YOU ARE ALL SET~~ RIGHT MOONIE!!!!!

Roni, so glad to see such a glowing report on Moonie and specially the pooping department. :-D Mags reminded me to check on her little pal. It seems she does need the extra dose lactulose. You're right about the Pepcid as it really helps. Now you can have a peaceful night and so sweet with Moonie and DH. Have a good night and hugs and love from us.
 
Detective Poo here, checking in on Moonie. Very nice report! I'm so glad to hear about the poo (of course!) and that she's eating. Yes, these kitties can be a challenge. :roll: :lol: :lol: We sure are crazy about them, aren't we? :-D :-D

I am so glad to hear Moonie is feeling better tonight!

Roni, thank you for giving me my first small giggle in over week...sedative pants. OMG, we so totally need them. I'm always saying my cats are trying to kill me, what with all their food issues, the diabetes, the senior issues...no one but us crazy LL folks get it!

Oh my... Moonie is sure keeping you on your toes. I said the same thing recently... These cats are killing me, :lol:

Hooray for the poopy, Moonie, way to go girl :-D but wow on the 49 when your mommabean had to leave. Isn't it just like a them, Roni, to make you worry all day, and then act like nothing happened... what are you so worried about mommabean?. :lol: Little stinkers.

So happy to hear that Monnie is doing better tonight. Hope that the lactulose keeps everything moving, the hyper-t meds keep that in check, and the dosecrease will be the magic dose.

I'm glad she's doing better tonight, Roni, and she didn't have to go to the vet. I'm glad everything was ok when you got home.
 
Moonie's keeping you on your toes - maybe she thinks it's her job to keep life exciting. So glad she's doing well now. When you get those sedative pants, send me a link.
