No blue today
and I have a feeling we won't see it again. His BG was 331 @ +6 not sure if the food prior to +6 effected BG. Food was last given 4:45pm test was done 5:10pm ? I think I remember Sienne saying not to feed after +6 but I don't remember how soon before not to feed? Either way he is starving no matter how much or when I feed him. I can maybe go 3 hours with out feeding him and that's only if I don't move past his room!

So how can you tell if the numbers are high due to a "food spike" or not?
***Forgot to add he had a hair ball cough the past 3 days, yesterday he spit it up w/ a bunch of watery food, this morning just water food spit up no hair ball
***One more question. Should I be prepared to increase back to 2.50u tomorrow morning? Tonight with be 6th cycle, right?

You usually see a food spike early in the cycle before Lantus onset. Once the insulin has started acting, if there's a rise due to feeding mini-meals, it would be more of a bump than a spike.
Right now, it looks like Mikey is bouncing. I suspect his numbers were lower than what you saw at AMPS and he's bounced, as a result. If he's still bouncing in the AM, I would wait until the bounce clears before increasing the dose.

Before Binks got better regulated, I used to hide in the bedroom and cry while I ate...
i just felt so wretched that he thought he was starving and didn't seem to understand why I couldn't help him.
Now he only shows an interest in my plate because he's a confirmed contraband addict.

it is so sad to see his hungry face with the quivering mouth. Every time I use the microwave he thinks he's getting tested and getting something to eat. Because I warm the rice sock up when I test him so he is (has been ) conditioned to the beeping of the microwave meaning he's going to get tested and then fed, so on the "off" times when I am using the microwave for myself he waits for me to feed him. I hate walking by him with out giving him food. Sometimes I try cat nip but it doesn't always work.

Great to see this blue amps!! Maybe we are getting closer to his fitting dose. Hopefully he'll clear this bounce soon and we
can see what he's going to do.
Poor Mikey!!! Could you give him some boiled chicken (small amounts) in times before +6 when he's hungry?
