Yesterday was SLIDE day in MannieLand. From the heights of the red zone to the depths of the blue grotto... didn't make green, but blue will do. maybe come more blues today Mannie? We had nasty appy issues with the PM cycle last night - not too sure why. Nothing really interested him, and I ended up with a mix of assorted fuds. At least he ate, though not well. SO.... eat your fuds Mannie, and remember: blues and greens! Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon ok... now about that simply AWFUL amps this morning.... Your bean really wonders if that was a fur shot last night... didn't think so, but it sure looks like it.... :sad:

All is well in MannieLand He wasn't too sure what to make of DGS yesterday. The Speed Racer was back in full force: zip zip zip from one place to another and then back again. Mannie spent most of the morning watching from the security of his bed. Nicholas did come to check on him, make sure the nanners were there and give a pet or two. Then he was off gain: zip zip zip.... :lol: :lol: :lol: We had a very nice sunny day here in the PNW yesterday - not much above 45, but the sun was out, warmed up the living room very nicely. Mannie and Elsa were elated: sunbeams! everywhere! So they indulged as DGS ad I took off to meet his mom for his DR appt. He passed his 2YR exam with flying colors! WOO HOO, and go Nicholas! This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club (YUM!, and YAY!), purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty for the remainder of the week. Today will be an outdoor day for Nicholas ( I hope - once I see how his cold is) I am not too sure at this point if that will be doable or not. He did fairly well yesterday, but was really tired after the pool. I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here.. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue think green kitties!

Hey everybody! You guys wanna have a pizza day? I really feel like having pizza! maybe we could cook in the treehouse, or... I dunno! maybe in Rusty's kitchen... or! we could do a road trip again and find all those cool pizza places. it's been ages since we have done that. What do your think? You guys in? He was still fighting his cold, so th session wasn't as long as it normally would be, but he had fun nonetheless. He was pretty tired afterwards so I let him take a very long nap after the pool. The triple shot is much appreciated today. It was -17 degrees here this morning!!

Michelle, I hope that Mannie will recover his appy. Perhaps the meds have something to do with it? How is your cold? So happy that Nicholas got a good Dr. report. Have fun today. I hope you can get out in that nice, warm weather :smile:

Mannie - what's with the numbers today? Didn't you listen to what Maui said, you're supposed to be the Blue Manchu kitteh and play in the grotto. You can't do that with those numbers.

Ooooh and you're coffee drinks sound oh so yummy, almost makes me want to like coffee. I'll stick with the yummy tea infusions.

Pizza is yummy stuff. Do you know what goes great with pizza? Nipbrownietinis! Bet you never had that. It's really yummy and will warm us all up. I'll make a batch and meet you at the tree house.

DGS and I have just returned from a day at the Aquarium. It is a beautiful sunny, but very cold, day in the PNW. So.... in the interest of Nicholas's, and my, cold recovery I decided to make it an indoor dayr, where we both can be warm, and hopefully get over these ridiculous colds we both have. Nicholas had a great day at the aquarium - he remembers so uhc of it now from visit to visit that he knows just what he wants to see. We made several of the feeding times, so that was fun. The river otter were very active, he really enjoyed them, and watching them play. Fun times all round!

Hi Liz - I so agree. what an AWFUL start today - very very disheartening.... Tell the kiitters that the pulls are helping, he is ow yellow. AND THX! Great fursday so far!

HI Ann, and Maggie - I wish I knew the reason for this morning. I really didn't think I gave a fur shot, but can't say for sure. The steady rise up seems to say I did. :roll: HE is on a slow slide down, so hope he will continue to do so. Paws crossed! many thanks on the pics - permission slip given, duh, so we went and played, had a good time too!

Hi Ella - Wish I knew for sure on the fur shot - I rarely give them as he does not ever move during injection... just don't know. At least he is coming down now.... Me too on the appy - I think alot of it is med related. He has figured out that there is stuff in his food and if he gets the slightest indication of it he stops eating - the little stinker!! I know that the BP meds are very bitter, so I need to find something, like gelcaps, that will conceal taste and smell. He has a cardio appt on Monday, so I will be talking whit this guy about these meds, he just isn't the same since he started them all. We are both getting over our colds, but not all done yet. we stayed indoors therefore, as the cold just makes us both cough something fierce. Bummer, as it is a gorgeous day here.

Hi Hilary - Yep - that there is - a bout an 8/10 footer. The beach area there has a great play water stuff for th kids - they all love it, DGS included. He's funny - now insists I go down with him. HAHA! :lol: :shock: and tell me about it - those AWFUL Numbers...

You made it to yellow Mannie, almost there. Some nice sliding today, although it works just as well from a lower floor. Maybe he decided to join Nicholas on the water slides cause it looks like so much fun!

It was a nice day outside for a walk, but still quite cold. I was in the woods and the trees were dripping as the frost on them melted. It wouldn't have been good for the colds to be outside, so good call on the aquarium.

Pizza sounds great, how about a rainbow one? Are you in? ~Neko

What a relief that yellow is. Now if he can just hold onto this tonight, that would be wonderful. What slide huh! :shock: Oh too funny on those water slides - maybe he did. :lol: :lol: They really are alot of fun - Nicholas loves them, goes down those slides over and over and over.... :lol: :lol: Yes - it was gorgeous here too, but cold all day, maybe hit 43, but felt like 33. It was just too cold to have DGS out - the minute we hit the cold air just getting to the aquarium we were both coughing our heads off.... :shock: It was the right call for today, as much as it pained me not to be out in it. Your walk sounds rally nice!!! btw: that pizza actually does look good.
