Awesome day, yesssssssssssssssssssss!
Jenks was still in the mid-200s at the overnight feeding. OH was up early, so I decided to go to bed early. I distinctly remember saying, "Even if he comes down 150 points, he'll still be good for AMPS. But that would be ridiculous."
Maybe I need to keep my voice down because Jenks dropped 121 points in the remaining hours to open the day in the low blues. On schedule, he continued down until about +4, where he started back up after a little time in the lagoon. Most surprising, however, is that we're not bouncing today. We're currently sitting at a very pleasant 141.
We saw a similar cycle on 12/31, so I'm a little worried about a delayed bounce showing up in the overnight cycle.
But he was definitely feeling good today. Hustling around the house and being a general nuisance between pit stops to nap under the Christmas tree. We're slowly breaking it down day by day, so there's going to come a time soon when he's going to have to say bye to his precious Santa tree skirt for the year. Poor guy. He's practically lived under there for the last three weeks.
