He dropped pretty quick today, just gave him a couple of HC treats (which seemed to work pretty well the other day when he was hypo), will test again in 15 minutes.

He dropped fast during the day two days ago, but didn't seem to bounce that much after it.

Congrats on the reduction. A comment again on the HC treats. The goal of giving treats is to get them up around 30 points or so, so they can continue to surf in safe but healing numbers. The three treats worked well the first time today, early in the cycle. However, the second time and later in the cycle when the insulin isn’t as strong, it seems a bit much. Too many carbs later in the cycle can shorten duration, giving you higher preshots. Next time, and Hogan seems determined to get his treats, :p maybe try two treats if later in the cycle.
 
Thanks, that's a good point. Next time, I will consider not only how much I have to raise, but also where I am in the cycle.
