Just landing today..what was supposed to be a visit for one thing for me ended up involving a biopsy on my eyelid so now I'm sporting a lovely Popeye inspired accessory
Gus is looking good, soft, purry but not too interested in supper. He is being nasty to the other cats, taking swats at them.
I think he's actually feeling good enough to feel territorial..
He got his pm dose of Zofran so hoping that reminds him in a bit that turkey was scrumptious just a few hrs ago.
Did not take him to the vet but did have a phone conversation with the vet tonite after I got home. We agreed if he continues to improve and eat great, if he slips back into the good day not good day pattern we go with the ultrasound to find what the underlying causes are.

@saltycat is right, even if he only ate some, I know it was good for him food for a few meals and that makes me feel better! ( no clue on what changes I made other than stopping the cerenia, adding some fish oil and a B-12 shot, that and switching back to good turkey)
My eye is killing me ( numbing worn off obviously!) and I only have aspirin and Motrin, no nos apparently, may try to just sleep a bit so may not be around much tonite..not relishing getting out to get Tylenol!
Also kind of want to monitor when Gussie eats since I couldn't do that today..
