Hello, everyone!! Thought I'd better get Champ's condo up and running before I run out of time like I did yesterday!!

Champ has been his usual sweet, purry, huggable self. I ran out of his homemade food yesterday morning and made a run to the store to get him some Merrick's Before Grain. He really likes that stuff and, at only 1% carbs, I like it too!! But I'm sticking with the homemade raw food since it is slightly less than the Merrick's cost-wise plus the fact Champ never turns his nose up at his homemade food or makes me heat it up for him (which he does even for the Merrick's) and his activity level seems so much better on the homemade. I made an enormous batch (over a month's worth) of food for him last night so he's a happy camper!!

I'm completely embarrassed to mention this, but.....I completely forgot to check Champ's BG last night at any time after his PMPS. I was so busy making his food that I completely forgot. Even when I took a break to feed him, I didn't think to test him!! And, for the first time EVER, I forgot to test him before I went to bed!!! I know something went on, too, because he had a 321 at PMPS last night, but a 131 at AMPS this morning with a bounce up to 220 at +2. Sometimes I wonder where I left my brains!!

I hope everyone is having a good day, regardless of the fact that, for many of us, today we had to return to work!! booo

Very nice start for Champ...I hope he turned it around after that +2! I'm glad to hear that the homemade fuds are working so well for him! Trix is not a huge fan of BG unless I mix some Fancy Feast in, which is what I've been doing lately and she's diggin' it.

So, there's a littel chatter about Mason and Danielle going on over in Tarragon's condo...seems like a few of us are looking for the first LL Love Affair to kick off this weekend ;-) :lol: !

Hi Patty, I wish I could get Maggie to eat Merrick BG but no such luck. Hmmm....I'd better go catch up on Tarragon's condo. Have a nice evening Patty.

Poor Champ. Out of food and no pokies. I'm sure he won't get neglected tonight.

Only 2 more days. Yay! Those scheming aunties are having fun. :lol: :lol: :lol: Mason is pretty shy so this should make it interesting.

Glad to see a Champ condo. I have restarted with the best intentions, but we'll see. I know it won't last every day like when we first started. Champ seems to really have improved since last I read about him. New diet seems to agree with him. More energy, that's always good. So good to chat with you again.

Hi Patty & Champ and Happy New Year!

Patty, preparation of all that food for Champ would surely cause anyone to forget about tests (or even shots!). Awesome! Rusty likes the BG but prefers Wellness and, of course, Fancy Feast Turkey & Giblets--the hands-down winner!! (But I serve it as a treat, not as a mainstay).

Too bad about returning to work, but Champ has to eat!

Come on back down Champers! Mom's got the good fuds ready again! It was my turn tonight, I hope they approve of our latest culinary efforts.

How nice that we can forget every now and then. Looks like Champ is none the worse for wear! Hope you see Elvis in Vegas. :lol:
