Happy new work week to everyone. Titan starts out on the beach today, that hasn't happened in a while. He still got a dosecreas to 8u due to the prednisolone and his numbers but I'm thinking/hoping this is the last. 4 more days at 10 mg then we start the reduction. He has a vet check this afternoon to look at his leg, it's healing but still looks like ......... :facepalm:. Enjoy your week. Ed
 
Hope you get a good report from the vet and glad his leg is healing. Are the cone of shame days behind him now?
 
Hi Ed, I am not on every day and missed what happened to his leg. I hope that it is healing well and the vet visit goes well. I hate the cone of shame. When Bubba had his eye removed he was like a wild animal when it went on , thrashing and walking close to furniture trying to knock it off. Ugh.......he finally settled into wearing it. Hope you are done with the cone.

Good luck with the increase and the vetty appointment. I hope the cone of shame will soon be a thing of the past.
 
Mama said you're off on a vetty visit, but maybe you can come on down to the lagoon later, if your dad sez your leg's all healed up...I might just still be there :cat:
 
I have found Vetericyn gel helpful for healing things up.

I was happy to see that your Fleur found a home, and it's so nice that you'll be able to get updates (hopefully with pictures!) on how she's settling in.
 
Vet visit went well, he still has the Eosinophils (white blood cells) showing up in a skin scraping, which is causing the itchiness (allergic reaction ), but much fewer and very localized on the sore area. In other words healing is taking place but not total. We are going to extend the 10mg prednisolone for an additional 7 days (starting today) which will be a total of 14 days instead of ten and see how he does. When we got home he gave me his opinion of the vet visit by peeing in the middle of the basement floor, thank God I tiled it! Easy cleanup:rolleyes:. Plus he is up a quarter of a pound!!!! Yahoo :cat:.
