I really do understand about the pancreas but I worry about doing anything for fear of triggering her but I'm happy to change her dose when you tell me too.

Re: 1/29 Rosie 181, 178, 185

Dear Mel,
I'm interested in talking with the man, if he wants to adopt Rosie. Did he show any interest? Could I speak with him on the phone before I decide?
Please let me know.

Regarding, my knowledge of the pancreas and diabetes. The reason I was hesitant to change her dose is that I thought it would upset you guys and because...
If you look at Rosie's spread sheet her pancreatitis flared right after I started her on a slightly higher dose at the same time she was on antibiotics. I wasn't sure if the antibiotic gave her pancreatitis or if she reacted to the increase in lantus.

Thanks, Robin

Robin,

I would have to contact him again as I deleted the private message before he read it because you said you weren't ready to rehome her yet. If you're sure you want to rehome her I can try again. But I'm not going to find her a new home until you're sure that's what you want done. I know several folks in your area that have adopted special needs cats that I can check with if my first thought doesn't pan out but before I go through that work I need to be sure that's what you want done.

Mel and The Fur Gang

Thanks for all the trouble you went through for me. Sorry I'm not trying to be a pain in your arse. I will think it over longer. I can't give her to just anyone. I don't know what to do. It's not just about me. My son, who has autism and depression is very upset about Rosie leaving us in any way. He can't understand what I'm going through either physcially or emotionally, or how I worry that I'm failing Rosie everyday.

Aww... I can't imagine what your going through Robin, but I do understand worrying about your fur baby. When Max relapsed, I worried and worry a ton. My biggest fear is that I'm going to do something unintentionally that harms him. I don't think you can fail Rosie as long as you're doing the best you can in your circumstances. Take care! And nice #'s for Rosie today.
