Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It's Christmas! We have to have peppermint! ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the was been a good one. I accomplished alot: breffis with my son, time with a friend for coffee, and time for some work on the 'puter. I was was a decent productive day yesterday, and not too rushed, always a good thing. Here is what I wrote alt night about the day: "Hi Everyone! I hope the day has treat you well. Breffis with my son was fun, it always is. Berry covered french toast was on the menu today. Really good! Things are well with him. Work is going well for him, he seems content enough with the way things are there. They are busy finishing up a new home build, set to be another rental. Guess they need to have all done by this weekend. So all hands on deck. He may have had to go and be a floor sealer today. :shock: :? SO out of his league he says, as he is the office manager. He's been busy working on plans for remodel stuff at his house. He went for the big plan first just to see what it would run, cost wise, and was very pricey, $10K for appliances alone. no way he says, so now he scales it down some, does what he can afford. Exciting times for him. Seattle was nice, always good to connect with Barb. They have finally hired a manager to replace my ex-manager who is retiring. They hired an HR person for a payroll job., and one without any payroll system experience. They run Oracle, which at best can be difficult.... NUTS! not a good hire, imho. oh well, being a retired employee it is not my concern anymore. I wish them the best of luck. I was busy backing up PC video files, for most of the day. It is nice one can just set it to run, insert a CD when needed, but it is taking alot of time. DUH! I have too many vid files. LOL, and DUH again! so at least now I will be able to delete them from computer storage and free up some needed PC space..... so I can upload more! :lol: :lol: :lol: WOOT!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cool: :cool: :cool: Elsa's whack-a-thons are back on the menu - again over her fuds bowl. Bug wanted some of hers, and she told him no way was she sharing. WHACK! He waited patiently then until she as finished and went in to clean the bowl. :lol: :lol: He went to give her the once over, and well that got a WHACK too. Poor Bug! He is so funny though. After these WHACKS he just sits there and looks at her, then saunters off to Mannie's old Fleece bed for a nap. Lola was whacked too. I guess she must have looked at Elsa the wrong way. :shock: :lol: :lol: She just walked up to her, whacked her on the nose. :lol: :lol: :lol: Lola's response? "Meow?" HAHAHA. Lola decided yesterday that it was a good idea to go back to attacking my feet when I walked by... always after the pass, and she gets my heels. :shock: I thought we were done with that....Guess not! :roll: Silly cat! Poor Lola is without a fuds bowl.... she was so exuberant when eating her dinner that she knocked it off the section of the counter where she eats. CCRRRR-ASSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH went the bowl. Of course it splintered into a ka-zillion pieces. :roll: :roll: :roll: So of course I then had to do a though inspection of paws, etc to make sure she hadn't stepped on any of the shards and had them stuck in her paws.... that didn't go over well: one squirmy kitty who didn't want to be "inspected!" silly cat! Definitely a case of Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for warmer weather, and maybe even some sun, later in the day, after our morning rains. If that is the case I hope there will be time for the park and/or beach in the afternoon. Paws crossed! I will try and get to condos when I can....

Sounds like a great day yesterday! Woohoo! Those are the best. Wow for Anthony. That is busy. Crazy how much appliances cost and floor sealer, way to go.

Ugh on the new hire. We use Oracle here. It is not a friendly program to say the least. It cracked me up because a co-worker here who has his CPA just accepted a job at another company as HR manager. :? I guess they think they are interchangeable. :lol:

Way to go Elsa! I guess she has decided that the "break in" period for Bug and Lola is over and time to show who is boss. I'm sure Lola's whacks were pre-emptive. :lol: Oh no on the dish. I hate that. Especially trying to keep everyone from stepping on it.

I'm so glad that you had a wonderful time yesterday with your son and friend. I hope that you have a great, fun filled day today with the 2 boys. Be safe, you 3!

Sounds like yesterday was pretty perfect - good food, good company, being productive at a comfortable pace! I had to giggle a little at Elsa putting those youngsters in their place!! We've crashed many food bowls here, too....

I'm glad you had a good visit with your DS and friend yesterday. Oh no on Lola's bowl. I'm glad she didn't get any stuck in her paws. I hope you have a good day with the boys and you get some afternoon sun so you can have time outside.

Hi Michelle! Oh, I really need Elsa today! ~O) ~O) I hope that all the kitties heads aren't spinning after all those whacks! :lol: I did that the other day with a light fixture, I had to inspect everywhere on Chyna as of course she was sitting right there when I did it. Then Vacuum, and I laid on the floor looking for shards :roll: I'm glad Lola was ok, even though she didn't appreciate the inspection :o Have a nice swim with Nicholas, and day with both boys! :-D

Hi Michelle,
I hate when glass breaks! And Lola is not the only kitty who hates to have their toes examined :smile: I broke a few glass ornaments while decorating the tree, and it is such project making sure all the glass is picked up!
Sounds like you had a nice day yesterday - the breffis pictures made my stomach growl :lol:
Good on Elsa - she has to keep the youngin's in place :lol: :lol:

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Our weather her is awful! lots of rains... but I won't complain. I keep thinking how bitterly cold it is in other parts of our country. I hope you all are staying warm. All that snow fall on the east cost! And in Georgia, and Alabama, and Florida? It is nice to see here that is has snowed most of the day up in our mountain passes, a few rain moments, but snow over all. Yahoo! We so needs the snow pack. BUT (!!) they can keep it there. haha. It has rained here most of the day. About 3 or so the fog moved in too, really dense fog. It is so odd to see rains fall in the middle of that fog... Nicholas and I swam alot today. William stayed with his other grandparents. We were in the water at 9:30, out at 11:30. The last 15 minutes were really mellow ones, those engines were close to being on empty. ;-) Funny thing was he realizes about 5 minutes before the start of the next session that that session has the big bucket dump and the lazy river. it was as if someone had flipped the energy switch and he was ready for round 2. what a kid. We didn't stay though, as I had William to pick up. What a great day in the pool. and per the norm we did just about all there was to do: even dumped on by the little buckets, time on float mats, time exploring the bottom of the pool. He mentioned his swim test. really? he says "I need to take my swim test soon, OK? but not today" :lol: . I suppose that when he is ready for that he will tell me. It was a great day there, always is. Another lunch pig-out in the car. William was in in that too. He had a fit until he got to taste the Nicholas's PBJ sammich. That was too funny. So home for a nap after that - he really was wiped out. For once he didn't fight me on it. Got to the house and off to bed he went on his own. SWEET! By then it was pouring outside. Just as well that it was nap time.... :cool: I will post the Picassa link to the photos in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Melissa - Yesterday was fun - productive too. THX too on Anthony - it was a shocker for him to learn how much those appliances really do cost. :o :o WOW - you are a ORACLE user too? MY SYMPATHIES!!!!! It is as you say, not a very friendly porgram. I too dealt with it for years. Cursed alot too. :lol: :lol: Too funny on your coworker. It always amazes me with companies or employees feel that HR and PR are interchangeable. uhhhh.... so not true. Elsa is so funny. Most of time she leaves them alone, but we do have those mornings, and she will exert her authority, usually in the form of whacks. Bug just takes it, Lola whacks back. :lol: :lol: and - we got lucky! no shards in the paws. :-D

Hi Angela - THX, it was an awesome day - I really had a nice time. Always good to see family, and clsoe friends. THX on today - we did just that. Lots of fun. They are such a joy to care for.

Hi Amy - It was close to that, for sure: perfect. Oh yes on Elsa... she does have those moments when she reminds all here who really rules the roost. :cool: Oh yes too on the bowls. I still remember the day that Bug decided they made good hockey pucks and was batting them across the floor, broke them all in the process. :roll: :roll: :roll: :lol: THX on today -we had a fun filled day. :-D

Hi Carla - THX on yesterday. It was a nice one, I enjoyed it. Yupp, the bowl bit the dust! :roll: oh well... we ad a great time today, but no sun. The rains just kept coming, and then the fog! A wet one here in the PNW!

Hi Rachel - LOL on the head spinning and the whacks. :roll: At one point Lola stood up o her hind legs and whacked Elsa back. oh oh.... Elsa let her have it. :lol: :lol: Oh no on your light fixture.... I too was on the floor looking for those shards.... so so hard to find! Me too on Lola being fine. I was concerned as it fell and she followed right after it. Heaven forbid that the bowl, with those leftover fuds in it went to the floor. She so had to be there, silly cat! THX on today -we had a great time!

Hi Jane - There is a part of me that is so glad that there is another kitty that doesn't like to have their toes examined. Now Mannie never cared - he'd let me poke and prod just about anywhere... ;-) I so agree on the glass pick - up. Inevitably I miss a piece.... THX on yesterday - and the fuds! growl away tummies! It was as good as it looked! :-D :-D Elsa agrees with you and the youngins!

HI Ella - n o worries! I know how it goes... been the same here. There are simply not enough hours in the day.... yupp! lousy weather, but fun times on the pool made it all better! :cool:

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) No worries on the condo ting. I know how that goes, it happens here all the time. I get mine up, and that's about ll the time I have.... too funny on yesterday condo. I will have to go and read that now. :-D I love the back thing - always when you least expect it. oh wow on Emma - all the way to the head? what a kitty! Bet that feels good when she latches on. :shock: Emma? You teach her that? Hmmmmmm....
EMMA! BFFF! It rocks! I swear! It sure did get her attention. She called my name alot. heeheehee... ok- next time i will aim for the head. That is an awesome idea. OOOOOOOOOOOOO! I can hear my bean now..... SWEET! ~~ Lola
