Greetings everyone. Yesterday's condo:

Yesterday's curve was a flat pink with a brief dip into the very high yellows, so we bumped the dose up .25u to 3.75. I'm not frustrated at all, because for the past month we've been struggling with red and high pink for days at a time, litter box a mess, Leo dragging around looking like death, and me worried all the time. Yesterday's steadiness seems healthier, even if it was a steady pink.

Had to go into work at 9 this morning and substitute teach an English class for my department chair, who is getting married today. She was supposed to send me lesson plans in advance but forgot and I had to call her at 11 p.m. on the night before her wedding. We were supposed to get 2-5 inches of snow last night, but it was definitely 2, not 5, and it was the good kind that slides off the car in an avalanche when you just touch it. It was daybreak and the chickadees were already twittering. The 26 mile drive to campus was easy.

Then I came home and Leo gave me a 279. I never thought I'd be so happy to see a high yellow number, but it's been such a struggle getting the big boy out of the red and pink zone. I hate to say it, but I was thinking acro and had even called my vet for pricing on the IGF-1 test. Now I'm starting to see visions of blues and greens.

Hope everyone has a great weekend like I'm having.

We held the yellow for an hour and a half, for the first time since DX! I don't think we're ready for blue quite yet, but this is the first encouraging news we've had since starting treatment.
