Happy Sunday!!! Sending more healing vines to Sid, Rocket, Christie, Jill, Roni, and any others who need them.

A little green yesterday but not enough.....I may have given just a little to much 10% with din din #1 but she came down fast from +10 to PMPS. At least she was blue all night and so I'm hoping she's just having a mini bounce today. She's been roaming around all morning...painters are here starting on the outside of the house (yes on a Sunday) and so she and Tobey are very atuned to whatever is going on outside. She's got all 5Ps in place and I'm hoping she's going to start liking this dose a little more. She and Tobes both went to bed with me last night but she sprawled on Mike's pillow at first and right after I turned off the light, I got kathunked in the face with a back paw and then the front paw :lol: :lol: She's such a touchy, feely girl. Then she decided that wasn't enuff so we snuggled.

I'm trying to get some stuff done around here today....such a procrastinator this weekend. I'll be back to visit condos a little later...I need to run up to the bank and get cash for the painters' deposit.

I gotta tell you, Marjorie...VIDEO CATNIP is one of the coolest things you ever turned us on to!
The furbabies think it is the BOMB...they watch it multiple times a day...
although they don't like it on the big screen cause their "prey" is bigger than they are-
have to play it on the smaller TV :lol:

He sure is enjoying that video! Does Gracie join him? Weezer shows no interest in TV, but Doobie does. He'll look behind the TV to see where things go. We just got a video security system and Doobie is fascinated when our drooler goes outside and he can see her on the monitor.

Oh, I just love that video, and so funny, I would not think of the size of the TV, but great idea if I decide to buy that video.

Hey ya'll.....well baby girl went up a little and now is coming back down...ahem....Gracie!!!

That particular video is "Cat TV". It's made by the same people as "Video Catnip". I actually just ordered the DVDs because they have added footage and there is a special deal if you buy them both. Tobey watches one or the other EVERY day...three times ....and then I find something else for him to do. Gracie was just as enamored with them when she was young. Now she frequently will act like she's stalking them and RUN across the room at the TV like she's going to get the birds but then stops and says What was I thinking? It's TV! They aren't real and I can't eat them. And then she strolls off in a manner that convinces you that she is far superior and intelligent.

Yes...his favorite scene is those seagulls....he goes crazy over them somedays. Today was a "reserved" day :lol: No tasting though!

bwah ha ha ha! Great video! My kitties have never watched tv. But I'm not sure that I have ever tried a bird video. Interestingly, my 7yo DS is currently obsessed with birds (c'mon, let's change to big cats already in the zoological obsessions!) But birds it is. He wants a birdwatching birthday party at the local Audubon center. This is not typical 7yo behavior, but I can think of at least 2 reasons why he is a science dork :-D ME :-DDH

so maybe I'll see if he and Simon want to watch a movie together :lol:

Love the video of Tobes watching his video! :lol: :lol: Do they make mouse videos? I'm sure Leo would be interested in those.

That video just made my day!!! I remember a while back you posted a video of Gracie and Tobey watching TV.

I wish there was a way to try it before you buy it. Hef watches the two goldfish in the 65 gallon and I have to keep him from walking on the glass tops. The three of them watch the squirrels and the birds eating seeds off the back deck. But I know if I bought the videos, they probably wouldn't watch them.

Oh my, Tobey, you are a master bird watcher! That sure looks like fun.

Can you and Gracie come to NYC tomorrow? We're going to make cimmamum buns to take to the ice skating rink. No one will go hungry. And there will be hot dogs, too.

My friend's dog used to stalk things on the TV, he had to put a stop to it after she got a bit too excited and took out the whole TV one night :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks for the pep talk re the Nora incident. I was doing my best to clear up any bad advice and be all calm and reassuring but maybe a little too much so since she went to bed :lol: Oh well no harm done this time and I think she will absolutely set the alarm next time. If you saw anything there that I could have said better or (heaven forbid) anything I got wrong or anything I didn't say that I maybe should have I would love it if you tell me so I can do even better next time and I gotta tell you - I was pretty relieved when Dyana showed up!
